The podcast for GPs, hospital doctors and other professionals in high-stakes, high-stress jobs who want to thrive rather than just survive.
You studied for years, you’re really good at what you do but you’ve noticed that you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, overworked and under-resourced. You may be comparing yourself to a frog in boiling water - the heat has built up so slowly that you haven’t noticed the extra-long days becoming the norm. You may feel on the edge and trapped in the very job that you’ve spent years working towards.
Here’s the problem, frogs only have two choices; stay and be boiled alive, or jump out of the pan. The good news is that you are not a frog. You have many more choices than you think you do. You don’t have to quit, and nor should stress and burnout be inevitable.
It is possible to be master of your own destiny, to craft your work life and career so that you can thrive even in the most difficult of situations. There are simple changes you can make which will make a huge difference to your stress levels and help you enjoy life again.
Your host is Dr Rachel Morris, GP turned Executive Coach and Specialist in Resilience at Work who knows what it’s like to feel like an exhausted frog. In the podcast, she’ll be talking to friends, colleagues and experts all who have an interesting take on resilience for clever people in high-stakes, high-stress jobs so that together you can take back control to beat stress and burnout, survive and thrive. -

Let’s really understand how the best business talent create such hugely successful companies. Let's truly grasp how the most creative and innovative minds become so successful by challenging conventional wisdom.
The 21st Century has seen a monumental shift in the world of business. Disruption, innovation and creativity are now necessary ingredients for success. If you really want to be successful you need to look for inspiration outside of your current sphere or industry to gain a competitive advantage. Rebelhead extracts lessons from worlds that don’t usually get observed through the same lens; demonstrating the importance of creativity in the world of modern entrepreneurship, and the lucrative connection between creating art and building a profitable business. -
The Milestone Pursuit podcast started in the lockdown of spring 2020 as a way of supporting people with their running when we could only run alone. It began with Mindfulness in Running (featured in The Guardian) and now provides 3 things;
Workouts, where I (Steve) record a training session for you to download and run along with me as if I'm there with you
Recovery Rambles, where I run easy around the beautiful Epping Forest and talk about something on my mind
Conversations with the Elites as part of our scheme to invest in underfunded British Elite Marathon runners.
The podcast has spawned some off-shoots in the form of:
Marathon Milestones, a podcast coaching programme like couch-to-5k but for the marathon
Early Milestones, a podcast coaching programme to support people trying to get better at 5k and 10k
The Milestone Pursuit Running Club, where we provide a community of graduates of Early Milestones with ongoing sessions to help them maintain and further improve their running fitness.
Detail are on our website and at our Patreon page
The Milestone Pursuit is an action-oriented performance coaching business, operating in running and in business. It was founded in 2015 by Steve Hobbs, British Athletics Endurance Coach, 2h30 marathoner and AC Accredited Business Performance Coach.

A collective of conversations that inspire, motivate, and encourage runners who know deep down that the world we want to create already exists. We all play a role in bringing it to life. Join former professional runner and life-long athlete, Tina Muir in this unique running podcast. We do not talk to professional runners about their wins or the Olympics. We do not talk about what shoes to wear or what training is best. Instead, we relate every experience back to you, and love to think hard about the questions you would always love to ask.
While we bring on well known guests like Malcolm Gladwell, Reshma Saujani, Ryan Holiday, Des Linden, Michael Gervais, and David Epstein, these are not the same old conversations. This feels more like overhearing two friends talking about the deep conversations that weigh on our hearts daily. Join us in discovering the power of running, why our sport has always been part of humanity, and how we can use it as a tool for realizing our truest self, uplifting our communities, celebrating cultures, and taking care of our Mother Earth. -

Welcome to the Interesting Health and Safety Podcast, brought to you in partnership with Safety FM!
A lot of people see health and safety as a really boring subject. Too much red tape, too many systems and procedures. A lot of things getting stopped by the safety police. Colin brings a different take on this; Ok at times it is still serious but Colin brings the topic to life in an interesting and challenging way. If you are serious about making a difference to your team then this podcast will help you run some great health and safety initiatives. A mix up of short messages, top interviews, opinions and great practical advice. Out twice a week Colin’s different takes on this subject will surprise you, annoy you, make you laugh and cry and remember if you are boring then don’t bother listening. Whether you’re a leader, senior manager, at the sharp end or a health and safety professional there is something here for you. Colin’s mantra is to make health and safety as important as everything else you do because that is what he believes. Thanks for taking the time to check this out

Charlie Brooks is a multitude of things; actor, reality queen and soon to be entrepreneur. Yes, our thespian is turning her hands to more enterprising pursuits. She’s designed a vibrator, but not just any old sex toy. This is groundbreaking stuff.
In this unfolding documentary series, we follow Charlie as she brings a product of her own design to market. But with no business experience and plenty of self doubt, this isn't going to be an easy ride. Speaking to experts, educators and entrepreneurs along the way, Charlie is breaking down stigma around female pleasure and doing a service to all womankind as she goes.
