Wild Zero is a 1999 Japanese comedy horror film directed by Tetsuro Takeuchi. It stars Masashi Endō as Ace, a fan of the Japanese rock power trio Guitar Wolf (who star as themselves). After assisting the group, the band's eponymous vocalist makes Ace his blood brother and gives him a whistle to blow during times of trouble. The group later finds themselves in the middle of a zombie outbreak.

Whistle is a 2026 teen-centric horror film directed by Corin Hardy (The Nun) that follows a misfit group of high school students who stumble upon a cursed artifact: an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. Unaware of its power, the teenagers blow the whistle, releasing a terrifying curse that forces them to confront their own mortality as their future deaths begin to hunt them down. Christine is a 1983 American supernatural horror film directed and scored by John Carpenter, and adapted from Stephen King's 1983 novel. The film stars Keith Gordon as Arnie Cunningham, a bullied teenager who buys a sentient 1958 Plymouth Fury, named "Christine", that exhibits a toxic personality and becomes a bad influence on him. John Stockwell, Alexandra Paul, Robert Prosky and Harry Dean Stanton also star. Alan Howarth also composed music for the film.

Cujo is a 1983 American horror film directed by Lewis Teague, written by Don Carlos Dunaway and Barbara Turner (using the pen name Lauren Currier), and starring Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh Kelly, and Danny Pintauro. An adaptation of Stephen King's 1981 novel of the same name, it follows a mother and her son who are trapped inside their car while protecting themselves from a rabid St. Bernard. Principal photography was shot by Jan de Bont and the score was composed by Daytime Emmy Award winner Charles Bernstein.

The Long Kiss Goodnight is a 1996 American action-thriller film co-produced and directed by Renny Harlin, and produced by Shane Black and Stephanie Austin from a screenplay by Black. It stars Geena Davis, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Amandes, Yvonne Zima, Brian Cox, Patrick Malahide, Craig Bierko, and David Morse. The story follows an amnesiac schoolteacher (Davis) who sets out to recover her identity with the help of a private detective (Jackson) when they uncover a dark government conspiracy. The score was composed by Alan Silvestri.

Constantine is a 2005 American supernatural superhero film directed by Francis Lawrence, and written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello with notable producing credits including Akiva Goldsman (who won an Oscar for A Beautiful Mind). The film stars Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a cynical exorcist with the ability to perceive and communicate with half-angels and half-demons in their true forms and to travel between Earth and Hell. The cast also features Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale and Peter Stormare. The film’s score was composed by Brian Tyler and Klaus Badelt.

The Prophecy is a 1995 American fantasy thriller horror film starring Christopher Walken, Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, Eric Stoltz, and Viggo Mortensen. It was written and directed by Gregory Widen in his feature directorial debut, and is the first film of The Prophecy series. The film tells the story of the Archangel Gabriel and his search for an evil soul on Earth, and a police detective who unknowingly becomes caught in the middle of an angelic civil war. The film’s score was composed by David C. Williams.
