Ok, this is a serious one. I'll admit it. I found The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart on Prime tv and couldn't stop watching it. It brings up issues of Domestic Abuse, Recovery, and the power of flowers and women when they support each other. My friend Susan is back for another chat about Sigourney Weaver, our favorite, in another bad ass role.
We talk about the trouble with secrets, and facing your fears, and your past.
Also featuring the song "Seacrets" by Pink.

Happy Halloween! I'm back and bringing the show back with a twist on the classic story of Dracula, Codependency. Who would have thought? Also, I'm reformatting the show with topics and themes of Recovery in movies. If you have experience in any kind of 12 step program, this might be your new listen! Don't worry, we still talk about movies and all the feels. So, you will still get the same old Tiff here. My friend Julie returns to the podcast for the chat.
Renfield, 2023, stars Nicolas Cage and Nicholas Hoult. You can find it right now on Prime Video, so it might be your Halloween watch today!
Music by Outkast and Talking Heads featured as well. -
Podcasting Tiff is finally back! And this is definitely for a movie that really deserves a lengthy chat: "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Julie Fisher joins me for the discussion.

Tiff returns with not just a film, but a film trope! What is a Manic Pixie Dream Girl?! Ok, I wasn't sure exactly what this was either, but my guest this week, Nicole Nadler, helped me realize that I was definitely influenced by this character in my high school years and beyond. Guess, I myself just might be a MPDG. Soooo, maybe you are one too! Don't worry, we still talk about movies. Check out Almost Famous and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to follow along. We also bring some other fun films like Annie Hall, Breakfast at Tiffany's and more.

Grab a cigarette, pour a glass of wine, and a side cup of coffee... House of Gucci is this week's rant! After I saw this one in the theater with mi amore, Juleeann, I knew had to discuss it on the pod with her. Not mention, it's got Gaga, Italians, and a murder in the plot (sort of). If you haven't seen this one yet, go get a ticket and see it while it's still out before the listen... spoilers galore.

Get out your readers and cozy up for a chat about getting old, staying young, and just being in the moment. I'm finally back and I brought my friend Julie Fisher into the pod to discuss two very NON Holiday movies, OLD and ORLANDO. You can still grab a cup of hot cocoa and wrap up in a blankie while you watch these two films. It might become your new Holiday tradition! Horror movies and period pieces I think are a perfect match for a Covid Christmas.
You can check out the movies on Amazon Prime.
Old - 2021 M. Night Shyamalan
Orlando - 1992 Sally Potter

Have you ever lost something like your hearing? How did you handle it? What about punching donuts while journaling? I know I do for sure. This week I discuss one of my highly recommended films of this past year with my friend Tara of Besoulfish podcast, Sound of Metal. This is a movie about trauma and loss, but also about transition and self discovery. In the end we both agree, suffering is for everyone and it's really nice to sit in public with the sound off sometimes.
