Wearing full kit, single leg pistol squat while balancing on a bosu ball, while juggling in one hand with a KB clean and press with the other.
Unfortunately, this is what “functional” training has become, and exactly why I don't usually like using the word.
In this episode, I'm using it in the context of performance, longevity, and the specific needs for tactical athletes:
1. Conditioning
2. Structural toughness / durability
3. Lower back / core strength
4. Upper body strength endurance
These targets are covered in detail!
If you want open up mental bandwidth and get these 4x targets programmed for you every week:- 1:1 coaching is now reopened:

The ultimate tactical athlete isn't the one who never falls, misses a session, or is perfect with their training... But the one who knows when to advance, when to hold, and when to recover.
It's NOT discipline or motivation It’s NOT our ability to keep pushing through It's NOT just bulldozing through training
