  • Allyson is passionate about celebrating the strengths in the staff and students she serves. She has been an educator for over 20 years, spending 15 of those years as a school leader. She has worked with students from preschool through high school, and is currently an elementary principal. She is transparent, vulnerable, eternally optimistic, and she doesn’t ask questions unless she is open to the answers.

    Despite the fact that she never wanted to step foot in a school again after graduation, there is no where else she’d rather spend her days. You will find her dancing with students in the hallways in the mornings with her JammyPack, and in classrooms throughout the day. In addition, she serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Michigan Elementary and Middle Schools Principals Association as the State and Federal Relations Coordinator.

  • Hi Everyone! Hope all is well! I am Khrysi Cherry! I currently serve as an Elementary Educator K-5; Adjunct Faculty; Instructional Leader; and an RYT-300 Yoga Instructor to name a few roles.   • Dr. Em is a Delta State University Statesman/Fighting Okra through and through. She graduated with her undergraduate degree from Delta State University. She earned a Masters in Special Education emphasis in Emotional-Behavioral Disorders from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Masters in Philosophy from Walden University. In the fall of 2020, Dr. Em completed her Ph.D. journey in Education emphasis in Educational Policy, Leadership and Management. Dr. Em was a Physical Education Teacher and Coach at Lee Academy in Clarksdale, MS for three years. Afterward, she moved back to her hometown of Benton, MS, and began her journey as a Special Education Teacher. Dr. Em and her husband, Matt, have been married since 2005. They have two boys. Due to her husband's change in coaching jobs, they moved to Vicksburg, MS in the summer of 2011. After being a Lead Special Education Teacher for six years in the Vicksburg-Warren School District, Dr. Em followed God’s calling to “step out of the boat”. This calling led to Dr. Em creating and developing Micah’s Mission School, Inc. while researching during her Ph.D. coursework in 2017. In January 2020, Micah’s became their own independent entity as a Mississippi Non-profit 501c3. Today, Dr. Em is the Executive Director of Micah’s Mission and Licensed Local Pastor at Bradley’s Chapel UMC. She will complete her M.Div Summer 2024 from Perkins Theological Seminary at Southern Methodist University.

  • Will Deyamport, III, Ed.D. is a District Instructional Technologist for Hattiesburg Public School District, serving grades K 12. He is also a digital transformation strategist, writer, and podcaster. Prior to taking on a full-time instructional technology role, Dr. Will was a social media strategist for a career development company. He is best known for his work in assisting educators in going digital and has helped teachers leverage the power of technology to reimagine the learning experiences of their students.

    In 2016, Dr. Will was one of three educators selected as a Mississippi Spotlight Speaker at the Mississippi Educator Computing Conference and served as a Schoology Ambassador from 2015 - 2018. Dr. Will speaks and presents often at conferences about the effective use of technology in the classroom.

Outside of her 9-5, Nafisa also applies her love of technology and equity as a Co-Founder and Board Member of Techsgiving, a non-profit established to build a more equitable tech pipeline for black and brown enthusiasts of all ages.

    She is also a passionate Pan-African who balances her love of world travel with her love of building a comforting homespace.
