    In this episode, I reflect on the sudden passing of one of our beloved community members, Dr. Lateefah—a brilliant psychiatrist, coach, wife, mother, and beautiful human. She transitioned just days ago, and I felt led to record this in her honor.

    When I found out—just an hour before teaching a live class—I was shaken to my core. I wanted to cancel. But my husband reminded me: “Your work pours into people like her.” So I showed up. Raw. Grieving. Real.

    This moment brought me back to the promise I made when I found my late mother’s handwritten book in 2017:

    I will not die with my purpose still inside me.

    That promise is now even deeper.

    I choose to die empty.

    Not depleted—but poured out.
    To show up each day, serve who I’m called to serve, and honor God with my gifts.

    I ask myself every night:

    Did I pour into who I was supposed to today?Did I put a smile on God’s face?

    If the answer is yes, it’s all worth it.

  • In this episode, I continue my evaluation of Q1. In part one of my review, I discussed my launches in December and January. Now, I dive into my post-launch process.

    Reflecting and evaluating is a powerful business tool. My December launch failed, and it is tough to look back at the time because it brought up a lot of negative emotions. But if I don’t confront those feelings and assess what worked or didn’t work, I will carry that experience into my future launches.

    I learned so many amazing things about my offers and am making positive changes to make my business more successful. I share how a peer review shifted my perspective and the benefits of fostering a relationship like that as an entrepreneur.

    I also recap my goals for the rest of the year and give you a sneak peek at what you can expect to hear in future episodes.

    It is not easy to own a business. There will be ups and downs. But, to grow and succeed, you have to be willing to reflect, evaluate, and pivot.

  • As an entrepreneur, it can be really easy to get overwhelmed by the noise in our brains. Whether you are wondering if what you are struggling with is normal or you want to see how another business owner handles scaling operations, this episode is for you.

    Q4 2024 was challenging. The shifts I experienced in my business were tough to deal with at the time, but now, after Q1 2025, I can look back with love and gratitude for all I have learned.

    I launched an offer in December 2024 and in January 2025. My body told me to rest in December, but I pushed forward anyway, and my fatigue caught up with me by the second launch date.

    I shouldn’t have done that launch in December. I shouldn’t have given into that trauma response to never rest.
