  • In this episode, Moz sits down with Hon Phelix Oduor aka Jalang’o, the real hustler turned Member of Parliament for Lang’ata.Jalang’o opens up on his raw, unfiltered journey—from humble beginnings, growing up in a family where someone had to grind hard to break the curse. His story resonates deeply: his own brother dropped out of school to give him a chance to succeed."I want you to go to school… when life gets better, I’ll continue."That was the sacrifice.Jalang'o tried every job under the sun, mostly manual work—hustling to survive and build a name. He didn’t do it alone, though; he gives props to the OGs who held him down and gave him a foundation. But the game changed when he stepped into politics. He gets real about how leadership messed with his mental space."In politics, no one can love you. As a leader, get used to criticism—you can’t please everyone."He speaks on the emotional and financial cost of public office, how it reshaped him as a man, and why leadership is not for the weak. This one is deep, inspiring, and brutally honest. If you’re chasing purpose, navigating politics, or fighting generational battles—tap in.#TheJourneyIsReal #Jalangoo #LangataMP #BreakingCurses #PoliticsIsDirty #RealTalkWithMoz #LeadershipTruths #KenyanStories #HustleChronicles #HardWorkPaysOff#TheJourneyIsReal #Jalangoo #LangataMP #BreakingCurses #PoliticsIsDirty #RealTalkWithMoz #LeadershipTruths #KenyanStories #HustleChronicles #HardWorkPaysOff📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎‪https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1q‬If you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. • In this powerful, chortling and emotional episode, Moz DJ sits down with iconic gospel artist Phyllis Mbuthia—a woman of deep faith, an inspiring journey, and a heart full of humour. From growing up in a tough environment to becoming a household name in gospel music, Phylis opens up like never before. She shares how, at 9 years old, she discovered her home was involved in chang’aa brewing—her father being the number one customer. With both parents in conflict, Phyllis and her siblings were left to fend for themselves, responsible for finding food and paying rent for two years. Sometimes, they survived on nothing but spinach.Despite the struggles, Phylis found strength in faith. One day, she made a bold declaration, knelt in prayer, and fasted for two days, refusing to ever go back to that life. Her education journey was full of setbacks, repeating Class 4 multiple times, but her persistence paid off. By Class 8, her hard work and transformation were so evident that her teacher used her paper to mark the rest of the class.Watch, be inspired, and share Phylis Mbuthia's journey.#PhylisMbuthia #MozDJ #GospelJourney #FaithAndResilience #KenyanStories #RealTalk #OvercomingStruggles #GospelMusic #Inspiration #Testimony #AfricanStoriesAnd don’t forget to follow @TheDJMozPodcast for highlights and inspiring moments from this and other episodes!📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎‪https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1q‬If you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. • In this Episode, I sit and have an insightful conversation with Ms. Josephine Kharay, Founder of Blue Grass Solutions, Pitstop Forum Curator, a storyteller, mental health advocate and author.Ms. Kharay’s journey is one of healing, self-discovery, and faith. After losing her Mom at a young age and, later on, her two dearest aunts, she spiralled into isolation and depression, yet this painful experience became a turning point in her life. Through journaling and deep reflection, she found solace and purpose. She realized that her struggles were often where God was calling her, pushing her toward growth and transformation. Writing became her refuge, and she embraced her lifelong dream of impacting lives through books. Faith played a pivotal role in her journey. In 2012, God called her to leave her job and step into an unknown season. Trusting in divine guidance, she embraced her path and now leads Blue Grass, a company she believes was divinely inspired. Her faith also led her to write a book on mental health, symbolized by the color yellow, which represents happiness and healing. Ms. Kharay’s story is a testament to perseverance and obedience, proving that even the darkest moments can lead to profound transformation.📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1qIf you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. • In this episode, Robert Burale shares his journey, discussing how he struggled with his identity by trying to meet societal expectations. He emphasises the power of a strong mindset and authenticity in living a fulfilling life. He criticises how external forces, including social media and certain institutions, manipulate people's thoughts, pushing them to seek validation in unhealthy ways. He highlights how modern religious leaders often prioritise trends over actual teachings, leading to losing core values. Burale also discusses the negative effects of parental separation on children, stressing that parents must be responsible in their behaviour both online and offline, as children absorb what they see. He urges parents to raise their children with love, understanding, and investment in their well-being rather than just providing material support. Finally, Burale reflects on personal challenges, including the pressures of being a father figure after losing his father. Despite his separation, he maintains a strong co-parenting relationship for his daughter's sake, emphasizing the importance of children respecting both parents, even after divorce. He calls on men to support each other, combat toxic masculinity, and build strong brotherhoods to ensure they can take care of their families even in tough times. His message encourages individuals to embrace authenticity, develop resilience, and foster meaningful relationships while navigating societal pressures.📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1qIf you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. • In today's episode, I dive into a powerful conversation with Shiko K. Ngotho, a woman whose life journey is a testament to God’s redemption, transforming her from deep pain to a life of purpose and healing. In her book Transformed to Reign, she shares her harrowing experiences of childhood trauma—rape, molestation, and rejection—that left her battling low self-worth and internal torment. At her lowest, suicidal thoughts consumed her, but a divine encounter changed everything, setting her on a path of healing and purpose. However, stepping into ministry came with challenges, including spiritual opposition, false prophets, and judgment from within the church. Now a minister and mentor, Shiko helps others break free from their past. Despite facing opposition and stigma, she remains committed to her calling. Her message is simple: no matter your pain, God can heal, restore, and lead you to your true purpose.📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1qIf you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. Sharon explained that although she grew up with a basic Christian foundation, she didn’t fully grow in her faith until later in life. She talked about the depression she faced, questioning God as she dealt with the challenges life threw her way.Reflecting on her past, Sharon acknowledged that the love of God is the only true rescue from darkness. • Andrew Ranja and I had a fascinating conversation about the state of politics, governance, and the importance of integrity in leadership. Andrew shared his experiences as a lawyer and politician, particularly reflecting on his two campaigns in Kiambu town in 2013. He emphasises the corrupt nature of transactional elections, where money often plays a more significant role than ideas or integrity. The conversation highlighted how these dynamics make it difficult for leaders to fight corruption effectively. His campaign team, Team Safi, is focused on promoting integrity and cleanliness—in the literal sense, like cleaning up neighbourhoods, and in a broader sense, as a metaphor for cleaning up the political environment. It’s inspiring to hear that Andrew believes that by choosing to do things the right way, other nations could follow suit, potentially creating a continental impact."Join us for this insightful episode as we dive into a discussion on politics and governance." #PoliticalIntegrity #GoodGovernance #TransparentLeadership #AccountabilityMatters #EthicalPolitics #IntegrityInGovernment #GovernanceForChange #PoliticalReform#LeadershipWithIntegrity #FairGovernance #HonestPolitics #IntegrityInAction #TrustInLeadership #CitizensForChange #Democracyandinegrity📲Connect with Us:* Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedjmozpodcast?igsh=MTNpNDl3MTl4Y3dlNA==* Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedjmozpodcast?_t=8q43tbOqGog&_r=1* Join our WhatsApp channel: ‎https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va9NUDF6GcG9I9zHdD1qIf you’d like to support the DJ Moz Podcast and help us continue creating great content, consider 1. • In this powerful and insightful episode of the DJ Moz Podcast, I’m joined by Pastor Stanclaus Agacho, Lead Pastor at Ruach Rivers, to unpack some vital topics that will help ministries, individuals, and organizations shape their future plans for 2025 and beyond.

We dive into marriage and dating, where both Stan and I share personal experiences and lessons we’ve learned along the way. We also discuss the importance of collaboration in the gospel ministry, focusing on how we can bridge the gap between secular collaborations, which seem easier, and the need for true Kingdom-focused partnerships.

Stan and I also reflect on the evolution of the gospel industry—where it started, the lessons we’ve learned from the past, what went wrong, and what we can do to move forward and build a stronger, united Kingdom impact.

Finally, we delve into the financial principles that are key to laying the groundwork for financial freedom in 2025. We discuss personal debt, strategies that keep you stuck in it, and the habits and discipline needed to manage money effectively—powerful tools for anyone looking to gain control over their finances in the coming year.

This episode is packed with practical wisdom and insights to help you move into 2025 with clarity, purpose, and strategy. If you’re ready to make a lasting impact, this one’s for you.

  • In this episode, I sit down with my good friend Gowi Odera to dive deep into the basics of our faith. We discuss the optics of faith versus true communion with God, and how fasting transforms our relationship with Him. Gowi shares his personal experiences with fasting, including its biology and purpose, and why it’s more about the posture of our hearts than the ritual itself.

We also explore the importance of solitude as a spiritual discipline, tithing time to God, and the temptations Jesus faced in the wilderness—and what they teach us about being relevant, influential, and avoiding vanity. Lastly, we unpack the barriers that keep us from being more like Christ, from our human nature and the lies of the enemy to the distractions of the world.

This conversation is a practical and timely guide for anyone looking to deepen their walk with God in the new year.
