Andrew was came to LA from Wildwood NJ, where he made a lot of money with a rock and roll lifestyle store but was going through a divorce and ended up purchasing a home from a Laker, learning lessons from dating and acting coaches and writing and directing the upcoming movie Fake It Til U Make It, and autobiographical comedy starring Tom Sizemore in one of his last on screen appearances, singer Rockwell of Somebody's Watching Me fameand Nicole Sixx herself as a tarot card reader. He details the unique way Sizemore got his "energy" up to do the scenes, how he met Rockwell, who seems to be stalking Nicole, and how his girlfriend puts him sternly in his place (but he likes it)
Vanja was surprised to learn that Mark knew about her teenage rap career and how Jesus stopped her from touring, which was a blessing because she was getting groomed by Johnny Gill's brother, she talked about her mixed race heritage and what it was like growing up as a Jehovah's Witness, then a black nerd, then the "hot mom" on the Dorito's Cool Ranch commercial. The conversation quickly got off the rails as everyone started talking about bisexuality, transexuals, swinger clubs, child stars turned towel boys, 3 somes, 4 somes, 5 somes and her incongruous crush on Michael J. Fox, even post Parkinson's diagnosis...

It was a fun sized show this week as Mark and Hannah welcomed the queen of Alternative Comedy Beth Lapides and powerhouse singer/songwriter Savannah Pope to the lighter side of the dark side.
Beth just celebrated the 25th Anniversary of her show Uncabaret with a star studded show featuring Bob Odenkirk, Sandra Bernhard, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and more. She recounted insisting that Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall not perform in drag, how Julia Sweeney now regrets her hit character Pat from SNL, how she felt when she saw her comedy nemesis Andrew Dice Clay in A Star Is Born and she had to remind Mark that the Marvelous Mrs Maisel was a fantasy. She also talked about The Rockwell in Los Feliz which is where Uncabaret is now on a monthly basis.
Savannah talked about growing up with show business parents (who apparently had jokes about editors) her music video Creature which was chosen as one of the top 20 videos of 2018 by Yahoo, directing her latest video Rock and Roll No More while laying in a coffin in the rain and sang a new song Freeway live in studio

Author/podcaster/Advocate Kelly J. Mendenhall joined Mark and special guest co host legendary anchorwoman Bree Walker for a fantastic show
Kelly talked about growing up in Flint, Michigan and finding the punk rock scene as a pre-teen.. She discussed her collection of tattoos, which inspired her book “Skin in the Game”. She was a successful marketing executive working for a non-profit when she had severe spinal injuries which went inexplicably misdiagnosed for years and left her unable to work. Rather than give up, she has become an inspiration to “spoonies” everywhere and finally got a knowledgeable and empathetic doctor who was able to give her a correct diagnosis and let her escape from the medical gaslighting she was receiving up to that point. Since then she has written the aforementioned book, started a podcast celebrating extraordinary women (this podcast helped her find out Bree is in that category) and she is an in demand speaker and artist as well.

It is former Dark Mark Show cohost Josi Kat's birthday and to celebrate we are replaying her birthday show from 2014.
It was Josi's birthday and Mark threw quite a party with a typically eclectic guest list. Actor/Model/Photogapher Eli Brooks talked about being in a Piss Ant video and brought Saariyah Syn who bellydanced for Josi. The fabulous Sasha Scarlett sang a sexy happy birthday song for Josi which entranced everybody, not the least of which Goth Republican Blogger Joseph Fein. Terrie Huberman gave Josi a "Water" psychic reading and former Piss Ant drummer Chuck Sapien recounted stories of being on the road with Josi. Nestor Rodriguez and Simon Kaufman did a freestyle rap inspired by the birthday girl and to top it off Orpheus Black demonstrated the art of rope play and everyone took turns giving a tied up Josi a birthday spanking.

Sin talked about recording the latest "final" Ministry album From Beer to Eternity, how hearing Ministry on cassette tape changed his approach to music, the pitfalls of playing guitar in front of a fence, referred to Mark's Ministry hockey jersey as a "onesie", reminisced about being in Society 1 with a few future Ministry members and talked about his new band Supermanic and teaching guitar at the Grammy museum.
Aaron talked about exceeding Al Jourgensen's drum expectations at his first rehearsals as he played the parts that 2 drummers usually play, how John 5 practices guitar in the bathroom, confirmed there is no beef between Rob Zombie and Al Jourgenson, how Al reacted to getting a bottle of Marilyn Manson's absinthe as a gift, playing in his new Brazilian band Black Oil fronted by Tony Campos of Static X and explained how to attain that uniquely powerful Ministry drum sound. -

Bangs talked about her path to being the Bettie Page of clowns, as she was a 2nd generation clown whose mother dressed her up to march around her in parades, leading her to enroll in clown school where she learned to trust her instincts which have led to her being one of the sexiest clowns on the burlesque circuit. She talks about the hazards of eating glass and spitting fire as well as not impressing the jaded tourists at Morongo Casino even though she was walking barefoot on broken glass (!)
Kristy grew up in Washington DC, where she took care of horses by some of the most powerful people in the world and she got dismayed by the process of legislating as well as working on scientific research for animals and humans. She got into comedy as a way to cope with her PTSD from what she saw and started astrology as a result of an unusual reading of her vagina. She also relates the awful (and wet) consequences that can occur when you touch an audience member in West Virginia.
Kristy also brought her Tarot Cards and gave readings to Bangs and Nicole who appear to have bright and prosperous futures ahead of them.

ARTivist Jil Love and comedian Jamie Gendron joined Mark and Hannah on The Dark Mark Show.
Jil followed up her protest where she put a gold toilet on Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame by actually building a wall adjacent to the star. With the help of prosthetics master Cleve Hall her naked body was made up to look like it was made of concrete so that she could look like she is bursting from the wall. She also left art supplies, tomatoes and eggs and let the tourists in Hollywood do what they wanted and wait until you hear what they did.
Jamie spilled the tea on some men she was with, both in the Hollywood scene and in New Orleans. She finally settles the long awaited question: who is bigger in the pants Eddie Murphy or River Phoenix. She also spills the tea on everyone from Robert D’Zar of Maniac Cop fame and Larry Linville aka Frank Burns from MASH.
