This week I sit down (still virtually) with Terrence Keyes from Gilbert High and we discuss his stellar cross country season as an individual and as a team and how his team was able to dethrone the might Flagstaff team at state this year. In today’s episode I had the chance to have a conversation with one of the top athletes in the state and probably the entire country. Not only did Dayton just win state with a time of 15:06 in the 5k, he also ran a 9:01 in the 3200 just a week or two later. This kid is the real deal and he was a pleasure to talk with about running and his experience this year.
