It's time to turn your side hustle into profit but remember you cannot expect success without hard work and sometimes you do have to graft to reach that goal, so stop making excuses or letting fear get in the way as the regret of not trying can often feel worse!

This weeks guest episode we delve into the world of architecture with female led architect firm LOUD. Architects. With a lot of unknown business similarities and creative design at the forefront of her brand, it was fascinating chatting with Kate Clare, owner and founder of LOUD Architects, about how she is a leading female figure in a male dominated industry, how she came to setting up her own business and being featured in The Times as well as appearing on a Channel 4's TV show, Extraordinary Extensions!
Kate's business ethos is that Architecture & Interior design should be accessible to all. She creates happy one-of-a-kind home extensions and interior spaces with the use of creative building materials, shapes and colour 'We don't do 'Box on the back of a house' designs' and she's proud of finding that niche in the world of architecture.

With currently two of my revenue streams being passive income and more to come in the future, I thought it was time to share my knowledge on this side of business. In this episode, I discuss what it is, how it works, and why you should introduce it into your business. It's essentially making money while you sleep to try to help your business have a consistent income without spending time having to sell, so my question is why wouldn't you have a passive income?

As we put ourselves more and more out there on social media we're always worried that one day the keyboard warriors are going to come for us and I recently had my first experience of trolling and I have to be honest and say it was horrific. From this experience it's really made me realise just how important your ideal client is, it is vital to know who you want to work with and marketing to them, speaking directly to them and not just shouting out into the ether and hoping the right person will find you. Even if you know your ideal client go back and re-evaluate time and time again!

A great guest episode with fellow wedding planning expert, Catherine Bradfield, the founder of The Wedding Boutique who specialises in UK and Amalfi Coast weddings. Catherine has broken the mold of the typical wedding planning agency by having creative design at the forefront of her business model whereby she has free reign for each design and creates all the aspects including the floristry herself. We discuss how life passions come full circle with inspiration usually stemming from our childhood and how pushing the boundaries of normal job sectors shouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Our first guest episode of series 4 and my god what an exciting conversation it is! I had the pleasure of talking to Jade Cook, the founder of Brow Bible Academy. The last decade has pushed Jade to her limit, she was diagnosed with cancer at just the young age of 21 whilst moving from the UK to Australia and having no family support and then falling victim to a visa scam but she overcame it all to now have 6 years experience of running her 7 figure salon business, then moving on to launch her online education and coaching business Brow Bible as well as a product line whilst she lives in Dubai with her beautiful family.
This episode really is one of learning to keep going, finding the lessons in the hard times and knowing that our paths are helping us grow in the good and the tough.

We're back! Season 4! I am so excited, I know I say it at the start of every season but it just keeps getting better and better. I know you are going to love what I have in store for you!
In recent years the love for books I feel has made a comeback and in 2022 I set myself a task to read one book a month... for me, this was very unrealistic with my ADHD brain! It totally backfired.
In this episode, I discuss why that didn't work, how we can change strategies and learn from our failings, and how I plan on changing my 2023 reading strategy to still increase my knowledge, but without the same pressure.
-
The final episode of season three of The Content Collective, I can't quite believe it! As we're coming to the end of the year I thought I'd share my review of 2022. My word for 2022 was growth and my goodness did we grow in all areas of the business, I'm sharing with you all my wins during this year but also what I've learned throughout the year to make next year even better. I'm diving into my goals for 2023 and sharing with you my new word of the year.

Let's talk content strategy because it really is my favourite thing! Connecting beyond what we do is key on Instagram so if you don't have a content strategy then you really need one. In this episode, I'm talking about everything content strategy including what it helps to build and achieve and how best to go about it and guess what my friends it all stems back to the know, like, and trust factors.

This week I'm chatting about a really important and key task that any business needs to do before they start or whenever a new idea pops into your entrepreneurial brain! This task really is the foundation of your business and if you don't do the work you could end up rushing into something that might not work and we really don't want that!

This week it's time for a frank discussion about Instagram. I know a lot of us are starting to feel the same and lose interest in the app we have all loved for such a long time. I'm with you, I get it. It feels like we're swimming upstream and having to work so much harder.
So let's make sure that we're working in the right direction and not wasting too much of our energy. Let's talk algorithm!

In this episode I speak with Lucy White from Wiskow & White a fellow wedding planning business, specialising in Italian weddings. Wiskow & White is the union of Lucy’s decade in events and marketing for some of the UK’s biggest brands, and Danielle’s (her business partner) 30 year career in Italian wedding catering and planning.
Having started their careers in the wedding industry at a very young age things have now come full circle and here they are.
In this episode we get very honest about business growth and the realities of trying to grow your business and a team, we touch on money mindset, getting uncomfortable and what its like to have mum guilt thrown in the mix.
This is possibly one of my favourite conversations to date! It's honest, raw and inspiring.... everything we are about at The Content Collective
