Today, we will listen to the Lord deliver some very hard sayings that we all need to hear. "Do not swear falsely, turn the other cheek, go the second mile, love your enemies and pray for them, and be perfect like your Father in heaven is perfect." Let's see what we can learn from the Lord today.

In John 6:63, Jesus says, "It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." Today, Danny and Kurt will examine this claim from Jesus and show that God's word is reliable and can always be trusted. Praise God for His faithfulness!

In this small section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus will begin His teaching with the phrase, "You have heard that it was said...". In this episode, Danny and Robert will watch Jesus clear the air on what God truly desires from His people and what these clarifications mean for us.

Some of our biggest heroes are the faithful saints who suffered under great persecution from their own people and from the Roman government. Not only did they bear up under that immense pressure, they went out to other places and continued to share the gospel of peace. Danny and Kurt will consider them today and look at their great example of faith.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. In this study, we will hear Jesus tell us that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. When we fulfill this awesome responsibility, men will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Praise God!

"Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and He will exalt you in due time." This is such a beautiful passage from the word of God. Some people think that being humble means being weak, but it doesn't mean that at all. Godly humility means that we are submissive to our King, and we are trying to be more like Him each day.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. We look at the second half of one of the most well known Psalms in all the world. "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Amen!!!

Did you know that everyone has a worldview? It's true, our worldview is the way we see things and the way we process all that is going on around us. There are huge differences between the people who put God first in their worldview and those who exclude Him altogether. Danny and Kurt will discuss this reality and how God's word can serve us so well when thinking about our worldview.

As we look at the first half of Psalm 23, we will consider the Good Shepherd and His amazing love for us. The Lord is our Shepherd, and we will lack no good thing! Amen!
