  • Welcome to your monthly worship service, where each month of this season we've been taking a look at 2 movies that influenced one of Tarantino's films. Under the microscope this month is Tarantino's self proclaimed magnum opus, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The movies we will be investigating to see if he simply referenced them in this film or blatantly ripped them off are, Jesse Moss', "The Bandit" (2016) & Phil Karlson's "The Wrecking Crew" (1968). Sitting down with me this month to assist with my final investigation of Season 2 is Thomas Hippler (The Fanacek Podcast). So join us as we get to the bottom of wether or not Quentin Tarantino is in fact a master filmmaker or just a scene stealing, glorified hack.

  • Welcome to your monthly worship service, where each month of this season we will be taking a look at 2 movies that influenced one of Tarantino's films. Under the microscope this month is one of Tarantino's most under appreciated films, The Hateful Eight. The movies we will be investigating to see if he simply referenced them in this film or blatantly ripped them off are, John Carpenter's, "The Thing" (1982) & Sergio Leone's "For A Few Dollars More" (1965). Sitting down with me this month to assist with my investigation is Ian Harries & Graham Jones (The Podcast Nobody Asked For). So join us as we get to the bottom of wether or not Quentin Tarantino is in fact a master filmmaker or just a scene stealing, glorified hack.
