It was an intriguing fortnight (starting from the Wimbledon qualifying week) beyond Wimbledon, since all the Challenger Tour action continues, which produced several comebacks and breakthroughs: Sumit Nagal and Facundo Diaz Acosta returned with titles in Targu Mures and Milan, respectively, as well as Braden Shick's maiden Challenger title in Cary. How did we also dive into the other 5 Challengers happening that fortnight? Follow this episode as it unfolded the Challenger-level actions beyond the lights of Wimbledon.

This year's second week of Roland Garros was really packed, but the pipeline delivered for a good reason: Maja Chwalinska's runner-up run in the Women's Singles sector, followed by Sebastian Baez's maiden European clay Challenger title, as well as Philip Henning's home glory in the Centurion 2 Challenger, and even more. Dig deep into the stories of the week across levels, especially appreciating the journeys of how the Challenger 175-point events helped both Matteo Berrettini and Matteo Arnaldi return to the Top 100!

The first week of Roland Garros might have felt chaotic, but the biggest winner of it all is the Challenger Tour. How was this the case between the third and fourth rounds? How did Colton Smith also win his first Challenger title outdoors a year after becoming the runner-up in the Birmingham Challenger this time last year? Who from last week's 5 champions won their maiden Challenger title, and what does it mean for their breakthrough? Follow through this episode for stories like these coming from last week.

In contrast to a traditional preview, I tried to verbalize my thought process behind my Roland Garros men's qualifying brackets, something I've been doing since I came across 2 qualifier prediction tweets for every Grand Slam 4 years ago. Since I couldn't come up with 16 names without imagining, I imagined various scenarios (and storylines), considering various factors. Again, I'm neither a player nor a coach, but I'd like to share my observations, what I thought were possible storylines, and the way I saw the entire draw; thus, I'd rather call this episode a brainstorm.

In the second week of Rome (1000), 7 ATP Challenger tournaments filled the "void" (of the 2-week Masters 1000), 2 of them were the 175s. How epic were the Bordeaux and Valencia Challengers this year, and how classic was Juan Manuel Cerundolo's final against Raphael Collignon at the former? How about how close Jan Choinski was to the Top 100 debut, thanks to his Zagreb Challenger title, and the return of Laslo Djere in the Oeiras 4 Challenger? Dive deep into the journeys of the week through this episode: it was an absolute banger of a week.

Despite looking like a slow week minus the cancelled Prague Challenger, it turned out to be another week of milestones: both Soonwoo Kwon and Facundo Diaz Acosta joined Pavel Kotov in the list of players winning 3 Challenger titles this year after winning the Wuxi and Francavilla al Mare Challengers, respectively. How about Calvin Hemery, whose 3-hour final was worth the wait for his long-awaited second career Challenger title? How did Franco Roncadelli's maiden Challenger singles title mean, as well as the youngsters competing at both Tour and Challenger-level tournaments last week? Follow this episode to check on their journeys from that week.
Small correction: Brandon Perez/Franco Ribero won the Brazzaville Ch doubles title against Michael Geerts/Skander Mansouri 6-3, 6-4. Their maiden Ch title together (first in any sector). I have mistaken one of the semis as the finals instead, apologies.

What looked like a slow week in the Challenger-level and 250-level tournaments at the start of clay season turned out to be full of milestones, which also includes a long-awaited Top 100 debut from Marco Trungelliti, as well as Mariano Navone & Rafael Jodar's maiden Tour-level titles, as well as Roman Andres Burruchaga's maiden Tour-level final, whlie Liam Broady & Facundo Diaz Acosta went back on track after their respective injuries, as well as Raul Brancaccio from his break (after losing form for a couple of years, citing exhaustion and mental health reasons).
