“We love chomp.”
What do you get when you make a near seventy-minute Ben 10 fight sequence? You get Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, which is (if we’re being honest) bit of a boring movie. Maybe you could settle a little bet for us. What’s less interesting, someone talking about the teachers at their old school, or someone describing a comedian telling an anecdote? Whatever the answer, would be nice if you could hear any of it properly, but SOMEONE had to go and not make sure the program was recording to the microphone.
Also, everyone receives a lil gift.

"Yeah, but I can't appreciate it because I'm mad at you."
Was devoting an episode to nine shorts worth it? Probably not! But this way our first season is a nice and even thirty episodes. Also, BIG episode today for fans of listening to people watch videos of dogs.

"I was just very like, disorientated, and upset, and embarrassed... that was that story."
Oh wow, the FIRST Ben 10 live-action movie. A perfect opportunity to talk about movies and TV shows that are not Ben 10, to discuss actors, to drop personal lore... basically anything BUT talk about Race Against Time. Don't worry, they get round to it eventually. Boy this film is charming. It's also not great.

"He's just so annoying! He's so irritating."
While they wait for Sam to arrive, James, Bailey, Izzy and Nat catch up on what they've learned about Ben 10 in the last month and-a-half since watching Secret of the Omnitrix. Most important; Izzy took the opportunity to catch up on the first three seasons she missed out on over the weekend. Stay tuned to learn who Waybig was based off, who is obsessed with Gears of War, and who delved a bit too deep into the lore of a nearly twenty-year-old children's show.

If you were excited for an in-depth look at the animated film Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, then you’re shit out of luck buddy, they talk about it for a total of like, five minutes, then get right on to arguing about fictional aliens.

“Was Ponce de León Cool?”
Do you wanna hear about Ben 10? Well tough, we’re talking about the CW’s Arrowverse now. Maybe you’ll hear the odd tidbit hear and there about the show this podcast is named for, but they’ve got other things to talk about. For instance, they need to discuss very important things like spelling, real-world weddings, and handwriting, so be quiet and be happy with what you get. Also, Nat continues to be relegated to a simple person-who-listens-as-synopsis-is-read. But don’t worry, he’s taking it like a champ.

Do you want to know what six people think of Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul? Well, my friends, have we got the podcast episode for you! On top of that, the decision on what to get for dinner comes around once again, and is made quickly and (relatively) painlessly. But, where there is light, there must also be darkness. Where there is yin, there must be yang. It’s finally happened. After one cock-up too many, Nat gets replaced as ‘person-who-reads-synopses.

“What do you mean, ‘Cannonbolt has cake’?“
HELL YEAH! GHOSTFREAK'S BACK! If you've missed our uneducated discussions about the animation process, then you will be pleasantly surprised by this one. On top of that we have all your old faves, Icarus, Cannonbolt, clothing discussions, etc. But with the old also comes the new, with the addition of sixth (oh boy, getting awfully crowded in here) viewer to the roster.
It also becomes clear to all involved that Ghostfreak needs better hiring standards.

“This is so far removed from Ben 10.”
A lot of dragging on inconsistencies and lazy story-telling in this one. Please don’t take it personally Ben 10, it all comes from a place of love. Have no fear though, your boys get very far off topic in part two of this episode when they start reminiscing about disappointing movies and arguing about what did and didn’t happen at school. (Fun fact: Nat’s wrong, but won’t realise it till a few weeks after recording)
On top of all that, learn how Joe was “roped into” a fun-filled weekend of podcasting.

"Shall we go to bed?... SEPARATE beds!"
Nat wasn't paying attention as much during one of these episodes because he was cleaning, but you'd hardly notice. After Sam and James spend too much time explaining all the inconsistencies that Nat didn't notice however, our three heroes finally get a well-deserved six hours of slee- SIX HOURS?! THEY ONLY GOT SIX HOURS OF SLEEP!? What psychopath was in charge of scheduling? But after that, all is right with the world, as some new blood arrives, and the fellas watch an absolute BANGER.

"Just like how Icarus was only half a bird."
Iconic /ʌɪˈkɒnɪk/
adjective
1. relating to or of the nature of an icon; regarded as a representative symbol or as worthy of veneration.
2. Ghostfreak’s second design.
PLOT TWIST! Sam's starting to switch to team Ripjaws! Meanwhile, the discussion of Ben's apparel rages on, as the boys seek out each and every inconsistency they can find in a Cartoon Network show, and pray to any deity they can think of that Grandpa Max never remembers his time as a slug. Don't worry though, they still find every opportunity to go off topic, including discussing how Sam's entire degree can be approximated up by a joke from a twenty-year-old British sitcom.
Also, James forgets the name of ANOTHER alien, come on man!

“I think maybe me and James are just sad.”
Oh wow, an extra big episode just for you, aren’t you lucky. In an attempt to make sure they get enough sleep to remain functional human beings, a decision was made for the team to speedrun their discussions for episodes 7-10. They forgot about this halfway through, but Nat still insisted on editing together four discussions into one episode because…. You know what, that’s a really good question.
Anyway, the Transformation Count is renamed to Sam’s Stats (‘bout time if you ask me), Netflix has the episodes in the wrong order (possibly?) because they’re losers, and Sam has finally had enough of Icarus and starts shooting. Maybe that has something to do with his love of Wildmutt diminishing as Ripjaws becomes more and more enticing.
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, in this episode the true origins of the podcast are finally revealed.
Also, some other stuff happens but I’m willing to bet money that nobody reads these so you’ll just have to listen and find out for yourself.
