She started her television career as a researcher, later presenting programmes such as ‘Animal Park’, ‘Springwatch’ and ‘Autumnwatch’, ‘Lambing Live’, ‘Living with Nomads’, ‘Extreme Wives’, ‘Back to the Land’, ‘A Country Life for Half the Price’ and ‘Escape to the Farm’. Her book Thinking on My Feet was shortlisted for both the Wainwright Prize and the Edward Stanford Travel Memoir of the Year.

Jackson shares insights into his culinary career, his daily routines, and the challenges and joys of being a chef and a father. Jackson Boxer began his career as a kitchen porter at the age of 16. He continued to pursue cooking jobs while finishing school and completing a degree in English at Cambridge University. After graduating, he joined the opening team at 32 Great Queen Street. After three years, he left to found Brunswick House at the age of 24, together with his brother Frank Boxer. What was initially intended as a six-month pop-up with a 10-seat counter snack bar and a café atmosphere, has grown into a dining room, bar, terrace, three private dining rooms and the cellars – a nascent speakeasy and dance dungeon. In March 2019, Jackson opened Orasay in Notting Hill, inspired by the western isles of Scotland, and now splits his time between the kitchens of Brunswick House and Orasay as Chef Proprietor. In summer 2023, Jackson joined Cowley Manor Experimental, the Experimental Group’s first UK project outside of London, as Chef Consultant for the Cotswolds-based hotel. In September 2023, Jackson opened Jackson Boxer at the Corner restaurant on the second floor of Selfridges, Oxford Street. In 2024, he opened his newest restaurant in Covent Garden, Henri.

Rick has always believed in showcasing local seafood and farm produce in his four restaurants in Padstow, Cornwall, where he also has a cookery school, food shops and a pub in the nearby village of St Merryn. In 2018 Rick was awarded an CBE for services to the economy. He divides his time between Padstow, London and Australia, where he also has two seafood restaurants by the sea in Mollymook, and Port Stephens NSW.

She turned to TikTok as a creative outlet, and her entertaining and educational content led to more than a million followers in just over seven months. She shares the skills she’s learned from her time in the restaurant industry to inspire and teach people how to cook at home, from the basics, right up to achievable restaurant-quality food – as well as a potato or two. Poppy published her first book in 2021, followed in 2023 by the Sunday Times best-selling Poppy Cooks: The Actually Delicious Air Fryer Cookbook. She has been a judge on E4’s Celebrity Cooking School and the BBC’s Young Masterchef and is a chef-mentor on ITV’s Cooking with the Stars. Poppy lives in Birmingham with her fiancé and two dogs.
