In recent months the show had been criticised for contributing to stigma towards those living with overweight and obesity. Dr Margaret Steele, a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Public Health in UCC, who is a signatory on a letter to Director General Kevin Bakhurst regarding the issue joins Anton to discuss.

Earlier this week a cluster of tents along Dublin’s Grand Canal were moved with Taoiseach Simon Harris saying the days of people living in these encampments were over, however within hours the tents were reappearing throughout the city.
