On Today’s cast we close out our coverage of the Word Bearers. Opening with the tail end of the Hersey with Layak’s arrival on the scene. Then jump over to Erebus’ terrible plan of converting Sanguinius (why would that have ever worked). And then of course over to Lorgar trying to use Fulgrim to usurp Horus. We then get into the Word Bearers post Heresy quite a bit as their actions there are both fun and telling of their real role in modern 40k.

On Today’s cast we dive even further into the Word Bearer lore, starting with the outbreak of the Heresy. And how both Lorgar and Erebus begin to set themselves up for different paths in the Heresy. We then travel to Calth as the Word Bearers both succeed and fail at the mission given them (Kor Phaeron off the top rope for the failure!). And then over to Nuceria where both Lorgar and Erebus make moves to aid Khorne in finding a different worthy champion.

On today’s cast we continue our coverage of the Word Bearers with Lorgar taking over his legion and promptly decided to tell the galaxy how awesome his dad is. And then we cover the Emperor’s response to such worship (spoiler alter it was not positive). Luckily the story gets awesome then as Lorgar goes on his journey to the eye of terror to Cadia, and to learn the truth of the galaxy. We then close out with him sending the Serrated Suns into the eye of terror and his subsequent journey.

On today’s cast we start our coverage of the Word Bearers. With their original founding as the Imperial Heralds and their role as the Emperor’s enforcers on the imperial truth. On today’s cast we take a trip into the Legion of the Damned. A super fun and exciting space marine faction that got their own codex in 6th edition, and then promptly were removed from the game due to being horribly OP. On today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the Raven Guard. Opening up with the events of Isstvan 5 and the almost destruction of the Legion. From there we follow Corax as he goes back to terra to get the original gene seed of his legion (unknowingly brining a bunch of Alpha Legion along). And then the events over the course of the rest of the Horus Heresy. Next we talk about Corax in the warp and the nightmare he has turned into for the traitors. On today’s cast we open up our coverage of the Raven Guard. Opening with the formation of the 19th legion and their actions during the Unification Wars. We then focus a bit on how the emperor used them to handle enemies that were utilizing warp powers he did not want exposed to other legions. From there we jump over to their actions with the Luna Wolves during the early days of the Great Crusade. And then we get over to the story of Corax, his arrival on Lysithea, and how he liberated it. We close out with the meeting of Corax and the Emperor and his joining with his legion.

On Today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the night lords. We open with maybe the most consequential event of the entire Horus Heresy, Sotha. And then jump back to the adventures of Konrad as he plays hide and seek with the Lion, and then the Lion and Guilliman. Only to later both breakup the Triumvirate as well as save the imperium (by accident?). We then follow him to his final death (or was it really a suicide), and the subsequent breaking up of the legion.

On today’s cast we continue our coverage of the night lords with a focus on Konrad and the night lords through the end of the great crusade and into the start of the heresy. Where Konrad proves a complete inability to make friends with any of the other Primarchs, and then proceeds to make everything way worse. Followed by him deciding the only solution to him never fixing Nostramo is to remove it from existence, and of course their weird joining of the forces at Isstvan 5 (the part where the loyalists accepted there help, just why?).

On Today’s cast we begin our coverage of the Night Lords with of course their formation under the emperor (it is awful). On Today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, with the handing over of the conflict to the Ordo Malleus and the arrival of the Grey Knights. Then we follow Inquisitor Rex on his attempts to cleanse the surface of Vraks outside of the citadel of all Chaos forces. From there we move onto the final siege of Vraks with the challenges therein from the citadel. The rise of Zhufor and his unifying of the defenders (sort of) to killing the imperial invaders. But we close out on the many layers of the “final” assault on Vraks. They use the word final but it lasts like 3 chapters, just saying.

On Today’s cast we continue our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, with the arrival of the chaos fleets to the system and the not so great (for the imperium) naval battle that commences. Which is then followed by a not so great experience for the ground forces once a bunch of chaos marines show up. On Today’s cast we begin our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, on of the epic wars of 40k History. Starting with the origins and oddly high importance of the planet. Then the rise of Cardinal Xaphan that leads to the revolt of Vraks. Then we get to the fun part the invasion of Vraks by the 88th siege company (the Death Korps of Krieg). We then cover the incredible woodchipper of death that took place as they spent the first two years just trying to take the first layer of defense. Only to then discover that chaos had infiltrated the planet, namely Alpha legion, which leads to the beginning of the expansion of the conflict, with the arrival of the Dark Angels. We then close out with the 9th year of the war, where the 88th finally takes the 2nd line, moving closer to their final objective, just as the chaos sorcerers begin their move.

On today’s cast we jump back into the Death Korps of Krieg. We start where we should with the revolution on Kreig, how it started, how Jurten turned the tide to make it a more “even” battle” and how he and his loyalists eventually won out. On today’s cast we jump into the Minotaurs chapter of the Space Marines. Starting with the earliest mentions of any space marines called the Minotaurs in the lore. But then we get into the more firm accounts starting in the 41st millennia. With them being super cool during the Macharian Heresy, Badab Wars, saving the Crimson Fists, and more. We spend a lot of out time talking about how the Minotaurs fight and behave, with an especial focus on what makes them different from other space marine chapters. We also spend a good amount on their super crazy bad ass (but also crazy violent) chapter master Asterion Moloc, and what or who we think he might be.
