After hitting rock bottom on a New York City closet floor, Nami Prakash built the mindset framework high performers use to lead from within. Former NCIS Special Agent Rebecca Fitzsimmons sits down with the founder of the Mind Quotient and author of Healing with Courage for a conversation on leadership, mindset, and personal development that moves fast and hits deep.
After 20 plus years in corporate leadership, Nami learned strategy alone fails.
She introduces MQ, the third quotient. IQ gets you in the room. EQ reads the room. MQ leads the room.
Then she drops a hard truth for ambitious professionals. 85 to 90 percent of people believe they are self-aware. Only 10 to 15 percent are.
You will learn:
You will learn the two kinds of self-awareness almost no one talks about Why your strategy fails without inner alignment The mindset shift behind courageous leadershipNami shares the cure hidden inside your pain and the one piece of advice she lives by.

Leadership, mindset, and storytelling collide in this conversation with Emmy-winning filmmaker Ken Fay. Rebecca sits down with Ken to explore how high performers find their voice, build resilience, and lead with authenticity.
Ken has shaped stories for decades across commercial advertising, documentaries, and narrative features. He earned an Emmy for a documentary he wrote and directed about healing in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy. He also lived through the Las Vegas shooting at Mandalay Bay and witnessed the human spirit rise from the worst moments.
Three takeaways from this episode:
The Nona in the Kitchen framework. The person, moment, or reason behind your work is your real story. Find it and your brand finds its voice.Resilience is the through line of every powerful story. The human spirit reveals it in the worst moments and the quietest ones.Kindness is a superpower and time is not renewable. How you show up for the person in front of you writes the next chapter of your story.Topics include leadership development, business storytelling, entrepreneurship, mindset, high performance, personal development, self improvement and career advice.

Content warning: This episode discusses suicide and grief. If you need support, dial 988. If you are located outside of the United States, resources can be found at https://findahelpline.com
Suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and the power of the human spirit anchor this raw conversation with Jimmy and Karen Baker, founders of the Jake Baker 27 Fund. After losing their 22-year-old son, Jake, to suicide in May 2024, they made a pact the same night. They would not let grief tear them apart. They would turn pain into purpose.
Jimmy, a 26-year police veteran now serving on the wellness team at the Baltimore-Washington Police Academy, and Karen, a former elementary school teacher and gym site leader, share their personal mission to help students, athletes, officers, and families build a support system before the weight of the world presses down on them.
Our meaningful talk touched on how Jake's outward success masked an inner struggle. How vulnerability invites the support you never knew existed.
What you will hear:
The Pact: deciding in advance that hard times will not break youThe Spotters: building your support system before you need itWhy the strongest people hide the heaviest loadsThis Mental Health Awareness Month episode is for parents, coaches, first responders, athletes, high performers and anyone who has been holding it together alone. Trauma-informed expert and Neuro-Obstetrical Anesthesiologist, Dr. Stephanie Byerly joins Rebecca Fitzsimmons on the Tactical Harmony Show to break down the achiever identity, narcissist patterns, and the mindset shifts high-performing women need to win more and stress less.
A former professor of anesthesiology and upcoming TEDx UCLA speaker, Dr. Byerly spent decades numbing patients in the operating room before a facilitator's blunt question changed her life. She had been emotionally numb her entire life too. From there she built the UnNumb Method, a coaching framework for ambitious professionals who look successful on paper while their soul dies inside.
In this episode, Dr. Byerly breaks down why narcissists target high-powered women, how socialization traps women in an invisible operating system of shame, lack, and isolation, and the neuroscience behind why your brain chooses the dopamine hit over inner work.
She and Rebecca cover divine feminine leadership, generational patterns, suppressed rage, toxic positivity, and the moment Tony Robbins' words saved her during a medical emergency over Telluride, Colorado.
If you hit every goal and still feel hollow, this conversation hands you the framework.

What does it really take to leave federal law enforcement and build a successful business from scratch?
In this powerful episode of Tactical Harmony, Rebecca Fitzsimmons sits down with Jordan Sutton — former NCIS Special Agent and founder of Thin Brew Line Coffee — to unpack the mindset, leadership skills, faith, and resilience required to transition from government service to entrepreneurship.
Jordan shares how she walked away from a 15-year federal law enforcement career, embraced uncertainty, and launched a mission-driven coffee company serving the first responder community. They discuss identity beyond the badge, overcoming fear, financial literacy, leadership under pressure, and why “don’t let your pension be your prison” may be the wake-up call professionals need.
If you’re navigating career transition, entrepreneurship, leadership growth, or life after law enforcement, this episode delivers tactical mindset strategies and real-world insight.
