This year it went to a short film that we totally loved called "Bobby," which was written, directed and starred Henry Burge. Today he joined us on the pod and broke down his production process, funding and how this short got him in talks with a rep at UTA.

Episode 100. We made it to a 100 episodes! Man it wasn't easy, but somehow we hung around and we are still here. In today's fun festivities we are joined by actor, writer, producer, talent manager and teacher Chi Muoi Lo. He has had a long acting career going all the way back to his childhood and working in Hong Kong. He is now a talent manager at Allen Edelman Management and recently created a digital course called "Mastering the Business of Acting," which helps all actors learn about the business side of Hollywood that no one teaches.

Episode 95. Today we sat down with actor and producer Max Adler. You might recognize him for the hugely popular TV show, Glee. Since then he is a busy working actor having appeared in several primetime TV shows and big studio feature films such as Clint Eastwood's Sully and most recently Aaron Sorkin's Trial of the Chicago 7. Max also talks to us about producing and through his connections has been able to help produce some major films such as The Tax Collector and Trial of the Chicago 7.

Episode 93. Welcome back everyone! It's officially 2021 and this year we are kicking things off with a great interview with writer and director Mike Mosallam and producer Seth Hauer. They recently finished the feature film, "Breaking Fast," a modern day love story set in West Hollywood about a gay Muslim doctor who struggles to move on after a breakup. This rom-com touches on faith, sexuality and relationships. We had the honor of seeing a screener of the film and it was amazing. We talk to Mike and Seth about the inspiration behind the story, the process of making the film and how important it is to see diversity on screen. Breaking Fast is set to release on VOD on January 22nd.

Episode 90. It's an exciting day today as we have film director and producer Richard Bosner. He's most known for producing the award-winning Sundance film "Fruitvale Station" with Michael B. Jordan. Rick talks to us about how he came on board to produce that film in San Francisco, the best ways to get funding for your project and his new feature film "Black Bear," starring Aubrey Plaza. The film was a huge hit at Sundance 2020 and is now available on all streaming platforms and select theaters.
