    In this episode, I am sharing how every morning is like a battle for all mothers like me to prepare their kids for school. When the alarm goes off, and instantly, it's Mom vs. Morning. From the moment my feet hit the floor, I'm juggling so many tasks—waking up my daughter, negotiating breakfast choices, and racing against the clock. The struggle of getting my daughter ready for school sometimes feels like a whirlwind of chaos. No matter how much I plan the night before, it seems there’s always something that catches me off guard—a lost shoe, an unexpected meltdown, or even my exhaustion.

    There are days I question if I am winning this battle. But through all the madness, I have learned to find small victories. A five-minute head start, a pre-packed lunch, or even a moment of calm over breakfast makes the difference. I remind myself that every mom faces her version of this morning's madness, and while it may feel overwhelming, we’re stronger than we think. The key is accepting that it's okay if things don’t go perfectly every day. Each morning is a new chance to reset and try again.

    So, if you are out there, racing through your morning like me—know that you are not alone. We are all in this together, fighting to win the battle of getting our kids ready for school, one messy morning at a time. I am sure you will love this episode and also would like to listen to all the experiences you are having while making your kids ready for school.

    In this episode, I am sharing how storytelling is not just a fun activity, it's about the gateway of Imagination and Critical thinking for my daughter. Storytelling is a powerful tool for both imagination and critical thinking. When I share stories with my daughter, I am not just providing entertainment; I am also helping her develop essential cognitive and emotional skills. Through stories, she can explore different worlds, understand diverse perspectives, and grapple with complex problems safely and engagingly.

    This process which always enhanced my daughter's critical thinking, let me share;

    1. Imagination: Stories can introduce any kid to new worlds and allow them to envision possibilities beyond their immediate experience. This imaginative exercise helps her think creatively and expand her horizons.

    2. Critical Thinking: As she follows a story’s plot, she is learning to anticipate the outcomes, recognize patterns, and evaluate characters' decisions. Discussing why characters made certain choices or what might happen next can foster her ability to analyze the reason.

    3. Empathy: Stories often involve characters with diverse backgrounds and challenges. By engaging with these characters, my daughter can develop a deeper understanding of others' emotions and perspectives, which enhances her emotional intelligence.

    4. Problem-solving: Many stories feature problems that characters need to overcome. Analyzing these situations has helped my daughter think through solutions and understand the consequences of different actions.

    5. Language Skills: Through storytelling, she can encounter new vocabulary and language structures, improving her communication skills and expanding her ability to express herself.

    Encouraging her to create her own stories is incredibly beneficial. It allows her to experiment with ideas, structure narratives, and practice articulation, all while fostering a love for both storytelling and learning.

    In this episode, I am talking about “Am I good enough?” “Am I Worth Enough?” echoes through many mothers' minds. As a mother, you give so much of yourself every day, and it’s important to recognize and appreciate your value.

    Motherhood is both magical and demanding. As soon as my baby was born, it felt like everything was essential. I was constantly thinking about what was best for my daughter, which led to a lot of stress because I was looking for everything that was best for her. Balancing work, and home life, and where I can feel like we're not doing enough.

    In this Motherhood journey, these elements will keep on reminding us that we are worth enough;

    Unconditional Love: Our love for our children is profound and unwavering. This love provides them with a secure foundation and helps them grow into confident individuals. That alone speaks volumes about our worth.

    Sacrifice and Dedication: The countless hours we spend caring for our family, whether it's through late-night feedings, school runs, or simply being there to listen, showcase our dedication. Our sacrifices are a testament to our strength and character.

    Role Model: By navigating life’s challenges and showing compassion, we model important values for our children. Our actions teach them about perseverance, empathy, and integrity.

    Unique Qualities: Every mother has her unique strengths and qualities. Our personalities, talents, and experiences make us the perfect mother for our children. They are shaped by who we are, and that’s incredibly valuable.

    Being “good enough” or "worth enough" is not about an unattainable standard of excellence but about the love and dedication we pour into our role as a mother. Our efforts, no matter how imperfect, contribute to the growth and well-being of our children. Seeing things this way can calm our inner critic and remind us that we are good enough.

    In this episode, I am sharing the idea behind "The Psychological Impact of a Kitchen Makeover for Mothers". A kitchen makeover holds the potential to significantly uplift the mental health of mothers, which I strongly believe for whom this space is the epicenter of daily activities, here I am every Mother will agree with me—from cooking and cleaning to preparing meals for all family members, including children and we completely agree how fussy they are every time they ask us to make something new something different.

    Ultimately, a thoughtfully designed kitchen isn't just about aesthetics; it's about creating a supportive environment that nurtures mind and body. A kitchen makeover becomes a powerful tool for enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of mothers, helping them find balance and joy in their everyday routines.

    I would like to share which elements I like to add to my kitchen are;

    Better Lighting: Bright, well-placed lighting reduces eye strain and enhances visibility while cooking. Good lighting helps you see clearly while cooking and preparing food. It can also help prevent accidents.

    Essential Oil Diffuser: This creates a calming atmosphere at home and helps to reduce stress. The essential oils used in diffusers can have a range of positive effects on your mood and well-being.

    New Chopper: Getting one for the kitchen that is sharp and convenient to chop veggies and other stuff always excites me. Always remember quality choppers and knives make cutting and slicing easier and safer.

    Safety Measures: Please choose childproof locks on cabinets and drawers to keep hazardous items out of reach of curious children, it’s peace of mind for Mothers.

    These tools not only simplify meal preparation but also provide flexibility and efficiency, allowing mothers to cater to different dietary needs and preferences effortlessly. By incorporating these elements into the kitchen, mothers can effectively manage cooking pressures while maintaining a healthy balance in their daily lives. I believe every mother loves to see changes in the kitchen including me and it will work like a helping hand in our kitchen.

    In this episode, we are discussing how Reading and writing are incredibly important skills to introduce to children from a very early age for several reasons:

    Language Development: Reading and writing help children develop language skills. Exposure to books, stories, and written language enhances vocabulary, comprehension, and grammar.

    Cognitive Development: Engaging with books and writing activities stimulates cognitive processes such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. It also helps children learn to organize their thoughts and express themselves coherently.

    Preparation for School: Early exposure to reading and writing prepares children for formal education. It familiarizes them with letters, numbers, and basic literacy concepts, making the transition to school smoother.

    4/Imagination and Creativity: Reading exposes children to different worlds, ideas, and perspectives, fostering imagination and creativity. Writing allows them to create their own stories, express their thoughts, and explore their creativity.

    Bonding and Emotional Development: Reading with children creates a bonding experience and can be a comforting activity. It also helps develop emotional intelligence by exposing children to different emotions and perspectives.

    Academic Success: Strong reading and writing skills are fundamental for academic success across subjects. They enable children to comprehend textbooks, communicate effectively in class, and excel in exams and assignments.

    Life-Long Learning: Early exposure to reading and writing instills a love for learning and encourages life-long reading habits. It equips children with essential skills they will use throughout their lives.

    Starting reading and writing activities from a very early age lays a crucial foundation for children's intellectual, emotional, and academic development. It enriches their lives, expands their horizons, and prepares them for future success. Therefore, it's highly beneficial for Mothers to prioritize these activities in a child's early years.

    In this episode, we are discussing how important our skin is and how we can take care of it, especially post-pregnancy. As mothers, we often prioritize the well-being of our little ones and sometimes overlook our own needs, especially when it comes to skincare. However, taking care of our skin is not just about vanity; it's about nurturing the body's largest organ, which plays a crucial role in our overall health and well-being.

    Post-pregnancy, our bodies undergo incredible changes, and our skin is no exception. Hormonal fluctuations, stretch marks, and changes in skin texture are common. It's essential to give our skin the attention it deserves during this transformative time.

    Natural skincare becomes particularly important because it minimizes exposure to harmful chemicals that can potentially affect both mothers and babies. Ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, aloe vera, and natural antioxidants not only nourish the skin but also promote healing and restore elasticity.

    These elements are gentle yet effective, catering to the unique needs of postpartum skin.

    Hydration: Drinking plenty of water and using hydrating skincare products help maintain skin elasticity and suppleness.

    Gentle Cleansing: Using mild, natural cleansers helps prevent irritation and maintains the skin's natural moisture balance.

    Sun Protection: Shielding the skin from harmful UV rays with sunscreen or protective clothing is crucial for preventing pigmentation and premature aging.

    Nutrition: A balanced diet rich in vitamins and antioxidants supports skin health from within.

    Stress Management: Practicing relaxation techniques and getting enough sleep can improve overall skin appearance and texture.

    In this episode, I am having a conversation with Sally Lee Stewart, who is an amazing Mother, elementary education specialist & author, and also a wonderful oceanographer. Recently she published her first Novel " The Ange of Vanishing Stability" It's about Thea West, a Northern Californian teenager growing up in the late sixties and early seventies, who is one of five daughters trying to stay afloat amid the psychologically catastrophic dynamic between her parents—a covert and commanding mother and an ocean-yachtsman father.

    A talented sailor and businessman, Mr. West suffers from crippling alcoholism, with frequent rages that mask his fragility. Thea longs to know how to sail, but in her world, traversing the water is a skill that belongs only to men, and she’s terrified to ask her larger-than-life father to teach her. Self-love and Self-discovery play an important role in everyone's life because it gives us immense strength to believe in ourselves and overcome any challenges.

    Sally is also an educator, As a clinician she always learned the background of a given child and then made a point to get to know them, their experience at school, and their likes and dislikes. One of her first questions was, when you feel anger, what do you do? One child answered, "Breathe." I was impressed.

    After her student surveys, she found the students felt trusting toward her and also respected her because she took the time to get to know them as autonomous beings with feelings, history, experience, and an opinion.

    Sally also loves to explore Ocean, She lives on a cooperatively grazed ten-acre farm in the coastal hills of Northern California and sails on the San Francisco Bay. For her upcoming expedition, she has already prepared herself and leaving tomorrow for her long water tour.

    In this episode, we are discussing, our distractions which we feel mentally every other day always fall behind in thinking the best for ourselves. Hence today’s topic is “Focus on Our Goals – Attention Doesn’t Matter”

    Mothers, often the linchpin of the family unit, find themselves pulled in myriad directions, tending to the demands of daily life. Amidst the chaos, it's essential to recognize that attention alone doesn't always translate to progress or personal fulfillment.

    Self-care goes beyond physical health; it encompasses mental and emotional well-being. Taking moments for relaxation, pursuing hobbies, or simply indulging in activities that bring joy contribute to a mother's resilience and ability to navigate the challenges of motherhood.

    Amidst the mass responsibilities, we mothers must actively carve out time for self-care. It could be as simple as dedicating moments for reflection, engaging in activities that promote relaxation, or seeking support when needed.

    Guidance is the compass that directs children toward positive values, empathy, and a sense of responsibility. Mothers play a pivotal role in shaping their children's character, instilling essential life skills, and nurturing their innate potential. Through love, care, and guidance, mothers can create a supportive environment where children can flourish emotionally, intellectually, and morally.

    In the delicate balance between family and personal goals, self-care and self-respect serve as cornerstones. In the episode I am sharing my thoughts and ways to overcome the scenario when we mothers fall sick or when the flu strikes. Just like everyone else, can fall victim to the flu, and the symptoms may vary. Fever, body aches, fatigue, and respiratory symptoms are common indicators. If we notice these signs in ourself, it's time to take action.

    The first step is acknowledging the symptoms and not brushing them off. Sometimes, we tend to downplay our health issues, thinking we can power through. However, with the flu, it's crucial to listen to the body and take the necessary steps.

    Mothers should not hesitate to share how you're feeling and what you need. Let your partner, family members, and friends know about your situation. Sometimes, loved ones may not be aware of the extent of your struggle unless you communicate it to them.
