  • Welcome to this 3 Minute Yoga Nidra practice. This quick practice is guided without background sound.

    This guided yogic sleep meditation has been created with the intention of bringing you a NSDR yoga nidra practice that you can do anywhere, any time of the day.

    As long as you can take a moment to slow down, this practice is designed to be done in a traditional or nontraditional way. Such as when you have a few spare moments in your car (parked of course) at lunchtime or between appointments. Or maybe you just need a second to reset your day but are very short on time.

    Three minutes is enough to help you calm down, activate your parasympathetic nervous system and reboot your mind. Leaving the practice refreshed, and rejuvenated.

    Yoga nidra is an effortless guided meditation that takes you quickly into a state of deep relaxation. You will find in these deep states of relaxation the mind is subtly aware and the body has moved into a deep healing state of sleep.

    Your brain waves slow down as you enter the states of rest and deep healing from dropping into your nervous system, allowing you to replenish and restore your mind, body, and soul. This practice can even rewire unhelpful habits and beliefs if desired.

    Welcome to this Vagus Nerve Support Meditation, a 25-minute yoga nidra practice guided by Loren Runion.

    This practice has been created to help you support the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is your 10th cranial nerve and plays a large role in the parasympathetic nervous system and relaxation. We support and tone this nerve by doing practices that utilize the nerve and therefore create more "traffic" along the nerve.

    It works a lot like a muscle. The more you do nourishing practices that support accessing a calm state the easier it is for your body to reach these states and come back to a state of balance.

    Welcome to this short 12-minute yoga nidra meditation to provide you with a chance to reset your nervous system.     One might think the true goal is to always have a regulated nervous system. The goal should be to have a resilient nervous system. One that allows us to handle the stressors of our day and quickly return to a state of calm and inner peace.

  • This meditation is an invitation to explore slowing down the brain, slowing down the mind from beta to alpha, and hopefully into a theta brainwave length state.

    In order for us to learn to live as our True Self and relearn how to come back to who we truly are, we have to slow down. Right now you are in a beta brainwave length state, but in order to heal, create change, and connect with your True self, you have to slow down the brain waves from beta to alpha or even theta brainwaves. This is where we have access to the subconscious mind and can make permanent changes in our brain, our state of being, and our nervous system.

    Practicing slowing down the mind in meditation helps you improve your ability to access these calm slow brain wave states during the day. What this creates is a resilient nervous system and improved self-efficacy.

  • Your vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body, also known as the wandering nerve. There's a lot of communication that happens from your body and the vagus nerve up to the brain.

    When we focus on our vagus nerve and do exercises to help our vagus nerve, we're actually activating our parasympathetic nervous system. In today's meditation, you will experience several different exercises that will help you connect to and create a relationship with your vagus nerve, along with helping you feel relaxed and calm.
