On todays interview, we located movie script writer Andrew Zeoli in Virginia (near DC), and with a new movie idea: "Crawdaddies", he shares what it is like to be a writer and how he got into this art form. Writing can be difficult, especially since Covid, the Writers Strike, and now Ai influence...Andrew shares the importance of following your dream and to put pen to paper every chance you get. He certainly has a dark humor approach; but in a very funny way.

It was the Dinah Shore TV Show back in the early 80's, and Larry was a regular on many TV shows back then. Thanksgiving Repeat: Interview with comic and Country Music Award Winner John Pate. Regular at Laughs, close Friend and Opening act for Red Skelton, and winner of Country Comedy Song of the Year...a song which we share as well. Top that all off with the perennial Presidential Candidate...Pat Paulsen. He does a short and really funny set for our TV show where he shares his comic wit and political stabs at the job he never won. he was actually on a few ballots during elections between 1968 (while being a regular on the Smothers brothers Comedy Hour) and 1976.

Both these entertainers were regulars at my comedy clubs back in the day, and both are still performing today. Fun combination of talent on this weeks show; we have a good Friend from my Laughs Unlimited days...Mark Pitta. Mark was out of the Bay Area and worked TV, Radio, and even ran shows at the Throckmorton Theater for years. I am also sharing a short "Pun-filled" bit by a guy who worked my stages early on his career, Darren Carter. He takes us on a "Corney" tour...Ha! Last, from the deep South; we have Joel Byers. Joel has gotten to be very funny. I first met his as a podcaster and in fact he was featured on one of my interview shows a couple years ago. We were lucky to have Jerry perform at our club many times, and knowing he is still touring today its nice to hear he is as funny back then as he is now!
