Marcus Oubre, 37 would vanish from his local Walmart located blocks from LSU in Baton Rouge Louisiana on August 23rd, 2023. His vehicle, a 2006 white Honda Accord would later be located abandoned along a busy roadway in St. John Parish, LA.
Marcus’s phone and wallet were not found in his vehicle and have not been recovered. He has a 14-year-old daughter who needs him home and his family has been pushing to keep his name and face in the public.
His family is asking for the public's help in sharing Marcus’s face and case in hopes of generating new tips and leads. There may have been someone in the area who saw something that day and didn’t realize they have the missing piece investigators needed to find Marcus.

Brenda, a 22 year old mother of two from West Virginia would vanish on her son's first birthday leaving behind all her belongings and her car parked in the driveway. Her sister Christy was 14 when Brenda disappeared and has spent over 30 years trying to bring her home.

Darleen Fitchett a 28-year-old mother of three vanished from her home on a January night in 1960. Her husband wouldn’t report her missing and when investigators did learn of her disappearance he told them Darleen had run off with another man to California. It would take years for this missing case to be deemed a homicide.

Lillian 56 vanished from her Guthrie Center, Iowa home on Mother’s Day May 2, 1965. Nine days into the search for Lillian her case would become a homicide investigation and 6 decades later it’s still unsolved.

Michelle Parker was a 34-year-old single mother of three who vanished in November 2011 under suspicious circumstances after dropping off her twins with her ex-fiancé Dale.
In the months leading up to Michelle’s disappearance her ex Dale had taken her to the popular reality show People’s Court to sue her for the cost of an engagement ring he said she lost.
On November 17th 2011 the day the episode was set to air Michelle would vanish and as the weeks went on her missing case was quickly turning into a possible homicide investigation and by December of 2011 her ex finance would be named the one and only suspect in her disappearance.
I did a brief breakdown of Michelle’s case but there is so much more information out there and her family has made sure to keep her face in the media. They have asked that we keep sharing her story in hopes they will finally bring Michelle her justice.

In Donegal Ireland on a remote farm in 1977 little Mary a twin just 6 years old would vanish walking back to her grandmother's home. Despite a frantic search by family, locals, and the Ballyshannon Garda station no trace of Mary has ever been discovered. Mary's sister Ann and her cousin Margo have campaigned tirelessly to try to find a little Mary and bring her home to rest.

Dawn was 20 years old in the may of 1981 and was living in Pine Island New York when she vanished during a night out with friends. Halloween night six years later Dawn's remains would be found hidden on an abandoned property in Warwick New York less than 3 miles away from where she lived. 35 years later dawns case would officially be declared a homicide by the New York State police.

Nguyet Thu “Wiki” Phung was 19 when she vanished on her way to work. Her then-married boyfriend told officers he dropped her off at her work, but she never showed up for her shift. At first everyone thought they had drowned but soon it would be discovered that this was not a drowning but a homicide. Charlotte Kinsey and Cinda Pallett 13 years old in the fall of 1981 were attending the Oklahoma State Fair without their parents for the first time. Charlotte and Cinda would call home excitedly from the fair saying that a man offered them a job and that they would call back around 9 PM to arrange a ride home. That call never came and Cinda and Charlotte were never seen again. 42 years later despite more than one arrest, their case remains unsolved.

In October of 1989 Sheila Finch 10 years old rode her bike to the local corner grocery store to use the payphone. That would be the last time anyone spoke to or saw Sheila alive. Now 34 years later investigators might be closing in on the person responsible for Shelia’s murder .

September 26th 1997 Carol Smith covered in blood would stumble into a gas station asking for help. Carl was able to tell investigators he’d been attacked by at least two men before he slipped out of consciousness. Unfortunately, Carl would pass away from his injuries the following day without ever gaining consciousness again. 25 years later and his case is still unsolved.
