Spiritual practice, like everything else in life, is evolving. What does this mean? By ‘Spiritual Practice’ I mean any activity that expands your sense of identity, for example meditation, contemplative philosophy, prayer, yoga, martial arts, psychedelics, transpersonal psychotherapy, fasting, visualisation, lucid dreaming, conscious parenting, forgiveness and much more. By ‘Evolving’ I mean that everything develops and adapts over time. Most of the spiritual traditions that have spawned these transformational practices emerged hundreds and often thousands of years ago in the pre-modern era. Modernity (rationality and science) and post-modernity (cultural diversity and the information age) are hugely influential historical periods that have happened since then, and I believe that contemporary spiritual practice needs to integrate the insights of these two worldviews as well as the premodern in order to keep being relevant and adaptive in a changing world.

I am unlocking the doors by having the courage to ask why.
Every question is a step.
Having recently crossed 70, I find myself looking back—not with regret, but with curiosity. Time, as it turns out, was never something to be hoarded or stretched thin. I spent years chasing ideas, proving myself, and running at a relentless pace. What I missed in the process was the simplest and most elusive thing of all—the moment I was already in.
I am learning now, not to control time, but to live it. To let each moment be what it is, free from yesterday’s weight and tomorrow’s pull. To pause. To breathe. To ask questions not for the sake of answers, but for the clarity they bring.
This podcast is my space to explore those questions, to strip away the unnecessary, and to share what remains—sometimes as reflections, sometimes in raw, unpolished thoughts, sometimes in poetry that may or may not make sense to anyone but me. But that is part of the journey, isn’t it?
I won’t tell you what to believe or how to be. I will only invite you to join me as I navigate this path—one of presence, of inquiry, of living in the fullness of now. Expect moments of stillness, of laughter, of unexpected wisdom in the ordinary. No yesterdays. No tomorrows. Only this moment, unfolding.
Let’s explore it together.

You’re doing everything right—but still single.
You’ve prayed. Stayed faithful. Attended BYU.
And yet… no husband. No temple sealing. No timeline that makes sense.
You sit in church surrounded by couples and families, wondering where you fit—and if you even matter.
You’ve heard the talks. You strive to keep the commandments. Tried to stay hopeful.
But deep down, you can’t shake the ache:
🌀 Did I miss my chance?
🌀 Am I broken—or worse, forgotten?
🌀 What does this mean for my exaltation… and about my worth?
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not crazy. You’re not broken. And you’re not alone.
Welcome to The Single LDS Woman—a podcast for women like you who are navigating the complicated, often painful reality of being single in a family-focused church.
In this podcast, you’ll find:
✨ Real talk for LDS singles
✨ Faith-based life coaching grounded in LDS doctrine
✨ Mindset tools that actually work (no toxic positivity here)
✨ Honest conversations about chastity, loneliness, worthiness, and eternal marriage
I’m Sharon Lamar—a certified life coach and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I didn’t get married until I was 52.
I know the questions that keep you up at night.
I’ve lived the waiting, the wondering, and the quiet heartbreak.
But I also discovered something life-changing:
You can stop waiting to be happy and still be faithful.
You can build a life you love—even while hoping for something more.
And most of all, you can trust God and trust yourself again.
💡 In this podcast, I’ll teach you how—with proven faith-based tips and tools, self-coaching strategies, and a reminder of who you really are.
Whether you’re never married, divorced, widowed—or not even LDS but still feeling all of this—this podcast is for you.
Because this isn’t just about your relationship status.
It’s about reclaiming your self-confidence, living happy now even while wanting more, and remembering your worth.
So… grab your Diet Coke 😉, pop in your earbuds, and let’s talk.
Friend to friend. Sister to sister.

Hi this is Bishop Julius C Trimble.
I have a mission “to encourage all people with the love of Jesus Christ to rise to their highest potential” - in short, to be encouraged.
I get encouraged when I hear stories of good news. It could be a gospel story like Jesus encouraging Zacchaeus about going to his house or one of our United Methodist Churches serving the needs of the homeless in their community or even the laughter of my own granddaughter.
I am compelled by Jesus to share with you an encouraging word or two about Jesus, theology, the bible, the pandemic, the environment, racism, voting rights, human sexuality and state of the United Methodist Church.
I also think we rise to our highest potential when we listen and learn from others. I love to talk with be encouraged by having conversations with insightful experts who help make me better.
These are challenging times in our world and in our United Methodist Church to be sure and those matters need to be addressed. I just think we can talk about everything in the light of the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ and that is encouraging indeed.
So let’s talk.
Please let me encourage you to join me on my podcast.
Be Encouraged with Bishop Julius C Trimble.
You can find Be Encouraged with Bishop Julius C Timble on Apple Podcasts and the other podcast directories.
This the place to where together we can accomplish the mission “to encourage all people with the love of Jesus Christ to rise to they highest potential” So please listen in and encourage others to join us.
God loves you and so do I and there’s nothing you can do about it.
See you soon on Be Encouraged with Bishop Julius C. Trimble. -
After years (or decades) of working SO hard to ’fix yourself’
I’m here to remind you that there’s nothing wrong with you.
You’re simply ready to come home to yourself and fully BE YOURSELF.
The Woman Behind It All is a soulcast for the woman in the in-between—between what she knows and how she lives, between who she’s been and who she’s becoming.
She’s done the work. She’s cracked open. She’s held it all.
And still—she’s searching for that felt sense of home.
Not in someone else. In herself.
Hosted by Kaija Dawn—Self-Projected Projector, 1/3 line truth-digger, poetic soul with a sharp tongue and a softer heart—this podcast is part riff, part remembering, part reclamation. A sacred audio altar where Human Design, Gene Keys, and embodied storytelling come together to midwife your truth back to the surface.
Inside, you’ll find:
💔 Stories of shame, softness, and shadow work
🌀 Energetic insights (without the textbook)
💡 Permission slips for the messy middle
🔥 Real-ass conversations on voice, body, power, and devotion
No curation. No pretending. No pedestal.
Just a woman… behind it all.
Come home to yourSELF. We saved you a seat. -
Hello, I am a marital therapist, communications trainer and author. I have thirty-five years helping couples and individuals make better relationships. I have written twenty-plus self-help books which include the international best-sellers ‘I love you but I’m not in love with you’ and ‘How can I ever trust you again?’ My books have been translated into twenty languages. I trained with RELATE the UK’s largest counselling charity.
Perhaps it has been turning sixty but I have become interested in spiritual as well as psychological questions. Who am I? What are my values – as opposed to my parents, my teachers and the wider society? What makes my life meaningful? What do I believe about life, the universe and everything? Although my clients might come to me because of destructive arguments, falling out of love and infidelity, they are also interested in having more meaningful relationships and a more meaningful life.
So what is the meaningful life? Why do we so easily lose our way and get lost in depression, anxiety, doubt, addictions and obsessions: the swamplands of the soul? One thing I know for sure is that there is not one answer. Each of us has to find out for ourselves what makes our life meaningful. But we can learn from each other, share our experiences of how to navigate the journey, how to endure and learn from the swamp, and finally how to find solid ground.
I have decided to use my original training in radio and journalism to interview witnesses for what makes life meaningful. Each week, I invite someone who is a therapist, academic, self-help coach or who has an enlightening personal story to share their knowledge or experiences. I hope our discussions will help you discover what makes your life meaningful and find more purpose and contentment. -
