Michelle has 12.5 years of experience working with children in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient clinics, skill nursing settings, homes, preschools and public schools. Outside of working as a full time school-based OT, Michelle works privately with children with ADHD via virtual and in-person private self-regulation and mindfulness and yoga classes. Her mission is to make mindfulness & movement accessible to all students, especially those with neurodiverse brains.

In today's episode, Dr. Tasha Brown explains how social media and phones affect mental health and self-esteem for kids with ADHD. As a child psychologist, she has practical, realistic ideas to help keep our kids and teens safe online.

     

    MEET DR. TASHA BROWN

    Dr. Tasha M. Brown, licensed clinical child psychologist is the director and founder at TMB Psychological Services. Dr. Brown graduated from Syracuse University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies and Psychology; and a minor in African American Studies. In 2013 she received her Master of Arts from DePaul University in Clinical Psychology. She then completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in clinical psychology in 2016 from DePaul University. Dr. Brown then went on to complete her Predoctoral Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.
