If you've ever compared yourself to someone else in a way that left you feeling like a failure, this episode is for you! It would be this: DON'T QUIT. Quitting will slow you down. It'll chip away at your confidence and it will have you caught in a never ending cycle. There's going to be lots of ups and downs on the path towards crossing the finish line of your race. Some days you'll feel like you're on top of the world, you're firing on all cylinders, and like you're completely untouchable. And then there will be days where quitting feels like the best & most humane option to put you out of your misery. In this episode I make the argument for why you should avoid quitting at all costs!

It's been 7 days since I injured my left ankle. I'm 90 days out from my first race and on Monday, I came down with the flu. 0/10. Definitely don't recommend it. But it did give me some time to reflect on best practices when it comes to getting sick, recovering, and getting back to training.
