Alright. We are here. The big, hairy, audacious topic. SLEEP TRAINING. Such a sensitive conversation for many, but we're not going to shy away from it today. In this episode we are going to talk about our sleep training story as a family and how it completely changed our lives for the better. We'll talk about how I went from an exhausted, mentally drained, unhappy shell of myself to being the mother I had always dreamed of being for my baby, just by getting restorative sleep back into my life, and my baby's life.
We are going to talk through how to think about the hard parts of sleep training: from crying, habit breaking, to alignment with your partner. I'll also answer a TON of questions on the topic and hopefully bring you a bit closer to making the right decision for your family (which, actually, may not even be to sleep train)! I am so glad you're here. Safe space, always!

My man Maurice and I have a nightcap after the kids are in bed, and realize that WE'VE BEEN GENTLE PARENTS ALL ALONG. We also get into some other stuff... the things we want to prioritize but haven't been, what we're watching, and Maurice's idea for our Halloween costumes this year. WE BACK

This week's episode is an absolute gem, especially for those with daughters. I sit down with Dr. Talia Moore, Ed. D. over a glass of champagne (or three). We talk about her incredibly well-decorated career while raising daughters, and how she's built such strong open dialogue with them. We'll also get into her bouts with postpartum anxiety, and why our kids should not be our best friends. And an added bonus for me, she's my sister-in-law! Follow my sis Dr. Talia Moore on Instagram @wantmooredr.moore or on her website https://wantmoore.org/.

This week I welcome our FIRST special guest on the show! Luckily he didn't charge me for the time ;) In episode 5 I have a very candid conversation about generational parenting, fatherhood, and mom rage with my husband, Maurice. Of course I'm biased, but he's the best partner with even better perspective--come meet him!
