Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we expect, but that doesn’t mean we can’t create something beautiful from it.
One woman’s journey to motherhood is a perfect example of how stepping outside the box and giving yourself permission to try something different can lead to a life that’s full, rich, and entirely your own.
In this episode, I sit down with the inspiring Dr. Monika Sharma, a clinical psychologist, certified coach, and single mom by choice. Monika shares her deeply personal journey of deciding to become a mother on her own, at the age of 42 through an IUI procedure, and how this bold choice has shaped her life. We talk about breaking free from societal expectations, navigating the ups and downs of single motherhood, and balancing it all with a thriving career.
Monika’s story is one of courage, self-discovery, and learning to give yourself permission to embrace the life you truly want. We also dive into important topics like parenting, perimenopause, caring for aging parents, and the power of giving yourself grace during life’s transitions. Trust me, this episode is filled with wisdom and encouragement for anyone feeling stuck or ready for something new. You don’t want to miss it!
