Logan Lessar always wanted to do something big with his life. He didn’t want to go the normal rout of getting a job and being held down in the same place, he wanted freedom.
He started his first business at age 15, he travelled to South Africa alone at age 17, and he did that to work with his business partner with whom he met online. He continued to complete his traditional schooling and achieved straight A’s.
Logan is an adventure seeker who loves racing motocross, skiing, snowboarding, jet skiing, wakeboarding, mountain biking, traveling the world and overall doing anything that will push his limits to force him to face his fears.
Now at the grand old age of 19, he lives in Cape Town, South Africa, and today we’re going to explore the “Champion mindset”. We’re going to find out about his “No Quit” mentality, what it takes to fail at motocross, and then go on to win!

Tom Clancy died in 2013, but his legacy is continuing with the permission of his family estate with the new authors, Brian Andrews and Jeffrey Wilson.

In today’s episode, Jeff Smith, The KPI Guy is talking with Matt Shoup
Matt is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, author, keynote speaker, aspiring paella chef, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, and Spanish coffee addict. Now, I’ve mentioned all of these things because they’re all totally relevant to Matt’s life and his reason for being here on the show.
Matt first found his love for business at 10 years old, when he started a mowing lawns to earn $200 for a boombox. Ten years later, while studying at Colorado State University, he learned about sales, marketing, and business operations. He made lots of money in college but then spent three times what he earned.
In March of 2005, Matt got married, he was six figures in debt and working at a job he hated as a loan officer. After hitting rock bottom, he then founded a company with the last $100 he had to his name and the company grew to more than $35 million dollars in revenue.
He wrote his first book Become an Award Winning Company in 2011, and his second book called Painted Baby in 2023. He also has a passion to help others who are less fortunate, which is the Matt and Emily Shoup, Spain Study Abroad Scholarship.

After having micro businesses in the past, things collapsed for Jan and she found herself as a single Mum on social support needing to make a future for her family. She started off by selling an assortment of goods to get by, which refined itself into to being furniture. To ensure a steady supply, she went into manufacturing, built the business up to 50 employees and won many awards over the next couple of decades.
But then she lost her passion and the reasons for doing it, coupled with increased problems having made errors in the foundations of the business and she walked away from it all, virtually overnight.
But she soon got bored, she missed writing articles for business publications and decided to start writing books to help entrepreneurs.

Fitz Koehler is among the most prominent fitness experts and race announcers in America. With a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences and decades of experience teaching fitness worldwide, Fitz has helped countless people live better and longer by making fitness understandable, attainable, and fun.
But she’s faced her challenges… In 2019, Fitz was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her once healthy, athletic body was brutalized by 15 months of chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries. In this episode Jeff Smith is talking with Michael Diederich, the Improv Guy
Michael has spent his whole life on stage! He performed most of his youth in California, studied musical theatre at Wagner College in New York, and had a brilliant career for over a decade in the Netherlands.
However, after many years of theatre productions and tours, Michael still wanted more variation, and improv was the answer. He began performing with Boom Chicago in 1993 and in 2006 became a full-time improv actor.
During his time there he gave thousands of workshops, helped them improve their syllabus, created their Public Speaking programme, and helped them develop Interacting, their highly successful improv training for children with autism.
But after many years, Michael realized he was working extremely hard for a small portion of the profits, and was doing the majority of the work himself. With some encouragement from friends and mentors, Michael decided to take a risk in 2018 and go freelance. He is now working even harder, but now instead of a slice, he gets the whole pie!
This is going to be an interview where you will not believe some of the things that have happened to Michael, the depths of despair reinventing himself, and then finding his way to amazing success.
