  • Daisy Kelliher is originally from Dublin and, in my humble opinion, the best 'Chief Stew' of the whole

Below Deck franchise. She has a strong work ethic, solid sense of craic and the most stunning swimsuit

    collection I've ever seen!

In this episode Daisy talks about Fear and Uncertainty. Describing a situation that many will empathise with, Daisy talks about being single

at 37, wondering where she might meet her partner and whether children will be in her future. In a scenario I'm all too familiar with, it's hard to know where to start when

uncertainty underpins all the areas of your life.

Daisy is a breath of fresh air and chats with such awareness and honesty. It's a conversation I could have done with hearing when I was 37.

I know you'll enjoy this season finale of S1 Scared Shitless

through is by developing coping skills that can be used both inside and outside of the kitchen.

He takes us from the high pressure environment of a professional kitchen to cooking as an

expression of creativity, communication and connection.

Host of Alive and kicking on Newstalk, Clare is passionate about ‘health’ in the broadest sense and debunking myths and wellness pitfalls we may find ourselves falling into.

In this episode Clare talks about Fear and doubt, the moment when you think ‘I can't do this’ and the impact the counter ‘you got this’ can have.

Two Claire/Clares having a conversation and when one of those is a Clare McKenna

  • Harry McNulty is a two-time Olympian, captain of the Irish 7s rugby team, video creator, travel photographer and someone who is always on the lookout for the next adventure and experience.

It's not every day you get to hear about what it's like to run out to a crowd in the Olympic games in the same conversation as catching the perfect shot of a lion on safari in Kenya. Both descriptions had me captivated.

In this episode Harry talks about the fear of missed opportunities, of balancing fear and expectations and how you know when you're ready to tackle the fear ahead of you.

  • Beatrice Caffrey is a fitness and nutrition coach. Originally from Germany and with many stops

in between, she has settled in the seaside town of Greystones, county Wicklow.

In this episode Beatrice talks about life on the other side of fear, having faced every parent’s

worst fear with the death of her son Joshua. Having found herself in an incredibly difficult

situation where each outcome terrified her, she explains how she worked through the inevitable

fear and how her mantra has become ‘It’s going to be okay’.

This episode describes events and contains details that some listeners might find difficult to

hear. This is a conversation that I felt privileged to have but I would advise listeners to use their

    discretion.

  • Keith Barry is NOT a mind reader, don’t mind what Woody Harrelson said!

But what Keith Barry IS is a world-famous brain hacker, hypnotist, author, entertainer and

    subconscious mind specialist.

In this episode, Keith talks about the universal nature of fear and the impact Fear can have on

people’s lives. He shares some hacks for dealing with some of the most common fears as well

as some scared shitless moments behind the scenes of a Hollywood blockbuster.

This episode took me by surprise! At times it made me feel a little bit uncomfortable, a tiny bit

emotional and made me think ‘how the hell does he do that?’. Mind. Blown.

I am so excited to share this episode. Enjoy!

  • If there’s a man that can tell a good story, it’s PJ Gallagher. For years PJ has been making us

laugh with his stand up and shows like Naked Camera and Young Offenders. Now we can hear

him on weekday mornings, bright and early, on Radio Nova.

In this episode we chat about how fear shows up in our lives and how it shapes our decisions.

We talk about ‘good fear’ and ‘bad fear’ and how it can act both as a barrier and a motivator.

To hear more of PJ’s story, I absolutely recommend reading or listening to his book ‘ Madhouse:

The naked truth about my chaotic childhood, losing my mind and finding a place to call home’
