Nick is back from vacation and has airport stories and duty free booze for them to sample on the show. Jared managed to finish Avowed and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and has a lot of varying opinions on the games. Nick went back Metaphor and continues to be impressed by that game.

The guys are finally able to record after Nick has been sick for weeks. They talk about the lack of 50 series graphics cards and whether it is worth getting a new card. Jared played through Dynasty Warriors: Origins and is generally positive on the game. They talk about a strange story based game called mouthwashing before a lengthy discussion on Nick finally finished Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth.

It's the last Gamescast before the Christmas Special and Nick and Jared are rounding out the year with a few more games before they have to make their game of the year list. Jared played through the latest Ys game and really likes that series and wonders what it will take for it to gain more traction in the west. Nick played Nine Sols and absolutely loves it, unfortunately Jared does not, which leads to a lengthy back and forth regarding how the combat works in the game.

An rpg heavy podcast has the guys talking about the latest Dragon Age game out of Bioware and the Dragon Quest 3 Remake. Jared enjoyed his time with Dragon Age but has some complaints regarding the combat and choices in the game. Nick likes Dragon Age but wishes there was more story in it. Also, they drink Hard Mt Dew and absolutely hated it.

This week Jared brings over a bottle of Full Proof 1792 and we talk about the high quality of the product and the shockingly affordable price that comes with it. Nick has finished the Vessel of Hatred Diablo IV dlc and is working his way through the endgame. Overall he thinks the already great game is even better with this newest dlc. Jared managed to completely finish the 100+ hour Metaphor: ReFantazio and is extremely high on the game.

For our sixth Halloween Special we decided to play throught he recently released Silent Hill 2 Remake. The game manages to be one of the most terrifying experiences we have played for Halloween too date. We talk through the different areas, tone, small amount of weapons and try to unpack the ending to close out the special.

This week we make a classic cocktail called the Sidecar and have mixed feelings about it. Jared is nearly done with Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and is high on the game despite it's technical shortcomings. Nick raves about Frostpunk 2 and the smart ways the sequel changed the formula from the previous game.
