  • Is it possible to make six or seven figures with challenges and events?

This week’s podcast guest and OfferLaunch featured speaker, Austin Ford, better known as The Challenge King, made $100K the day he started doing his events.

If that’s not convincing enough, Austin recently did an event that made $300K in a single day with only 64 attendees.

    Yes, you read that right.

This shows that you don’t need a big audience to launch an event.

Like I always say, doing an event is one of the best ways to introduce yourself to the market. So, don’t worry if you don’t have an extensive list.

What you need to worry about is this one crucial thing that most marketers overlook.

What is it? What’s the secret formula to filling an event that converts better?

Listen now to my conversation with Austin Ford to find out.

    Key Takeaways:

    Introduction (00:00)

From jack of all trades to becoming the challenge king (02:01)

The power of focusing on one thing (09:06)

Transitioning from challenges to virtual events (10:42)

How to get traffic to your events even without a list (13:26)

Better conversions vs. better speaker (16:07)

Mistakes most entrepreneurs make with challenges and events (18:55)

    Smaller events convert better (21:04)

What to do after your events? (22:09)

  • It's funny how I used to make fun of mindset once in front of Russell Brunson when I first started working there.

The younger me was screaming mindset has nothing to do with becoming a successful entrepreneur.

It turns out it's almost all mindset! Boy, I was dead wrong.

And this week's guest, Lawrence Kim, one of our featured speakers at the OfferLaunch, has his own story to tell.

Lawrence was once an avid entrepreneur fan–stalking guys like Gary V., Grant Cardone, and Russell Brunson–and later took the leap to become an actual entrepreneur.

    And guess what?

He started selling bus tickets through his sales funnel.

Come learn the mindset shift he's made since then to keep his business growing.

    Key Takeaways:

    Introduction (00:00)

    From corporate to entrepreneurship (01:21)

    Lawrence's first launch attempt (02:31)

    The pivotal mindset shift (07:58)

  • Who says webinars are dead?

I love webinars! I still do them, and they do work. However, never did I expect I’d hear something new about webinars.

I was amazed when I heard how Sam Kwak, an entrepreneur, real estate investor, and webinar expert, does webinars.

All those little things like pattern interruptions, retention graphs, and weird split tests improve his automated webinars.

    Here’s how Sam did it…

It brings you peace of mind, thinking you have recurring revenue every month.

Chas is one of our featured speakers at OfferLaunch 2023 event. (If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, grab them HERE.)

  • A marketer is nothing more than an event thrower.

We throw events packaged as webinars, challenges, or whatever modality we use just to get people’s attention.

However, one thing that most of us would refrain from discussing is that filling an event is HARD enough!

    But not for Stacey Martino.

Stacey and her husband, Paul, are relationship gurus and have been doing it for 20 years.

For the last 10 years, they’ve had a whopping 90% REPEAT ATTENDANCE rate (read that again).

Her clients are even willing enough to pay as much as $15,000 to get into their program!

    How did they do it?

Fortunately, Stacey is one of our featured speakers this coming October 26-28 at the OfferLaunch event (so exciting). And she’s here to share her event methodologies that will blow your mind.

    Here’s how she did it.

(P.S. No tickets yet? Get your OfferLaunch event tickets here and learn the 6&7 figure strategies top marketers use to (re)launch offers.)

  • I think a lot of people jump into the entrepreneurial space because they are a bit of an artist.

However, many of them don't know how to manage money in terms of separating business finance from personal finance.

This is where someone like Brad Gibb, a dear friend, investor, financial expert, and one of our featured speakers at this coming OffferLaunch 2023 event, comes in.

Brad helps entrepreneurs build wealth while they build their businesses.

Apparently, I was once like you, who've paid everybody else apart from myself. And Brad made me realize that getting PAID from your business is by design, not luck.

So, when should your business pay you (and when to take cash)?

Here are the two ways to plan profit TO YOU…

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

When should your business pay you? (01:27)

  • My OfferLaunch event (which, by the way, happens this Oct 26-28) won’t be complete without inviting this outstanding entrepreneur and personal friend of mine, Alison J Prince, to be one of the speakers.

I just love how Alison built a true community from her multi-million dollar businesses.

Yes, you read that right. She runs multiple multi-million dollar businesses on EVERGREEN!

And she’s here on the podcast to tell you that you don’t need anything fancy or a huge list to launch.

  • It was probably seven or eight years ago that I met Sean Malone, and he eventually became one of those people who inspired me on my journey.

Sean got into sales in pursuit of this most frequently asked question–how to make a boatload of money?

Like most of us, he started as a terrible salesman, booking zero appointments out of 2,400 calls. But that didn’t make him quit sales.

He learned sales systems to master his craft, and lo and behold, he became one of the greatest sales geniuses I’ve met in my entire life.

Interestingly, after hearing how Sean has been crushing business after business with his sales system, I realized that marketing is only measured in lead gen.

I’m not saying there’s no advantage to publishing a video that gets tons of likes, but sometimes that’s just the awareness part.

It’s important to remember to build a SALES company rather than a MARKETING company. After all, you’re here to sell.

So, here’s how DMs can help you make the transition.

(Also, if you haven’t yet, get your ticket at OfferLaunch.com and learn from experts like Sean how to (re)launch lucrative offers that make 6-7 figures.)

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

    Meet Sean Malone (02:36)

    The birth of FlowChat (14:18)

How to utilize DMs for stronger launch (17:26)

  • I’ve worked with many different ad agencies, but this one stood out to me.

Meet Brad Langan, a personal trainer turned media-buying expert and marketing agency owner.

Instead of looking at paid traffic just by getting people to click a page, he understands the value of bringing that traffic to the page and looking at it as one “continued whole”. It is such a unique thing!

If you think about it, the shift is quite simple but essential for cheaper conversions.

That’s what made Brad and his agency one of the top paid ad agencies in the industry.

And so, I can hardly wait for him to share all about it at the upcoming OfferLaunch event.

For now, here’s a sneak peek at how they’ve changed the paid ad and sales funnel landscapes.

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

Meet Brad Langan and his works (01:41)

How Brad got into the media buying space (05:26)

Traffic and launching mistakes that funnel people make (09:59)

  • Come to think of it… I have made 55 products in three years, many of which have been taken down.

I didn’t see the real value they bring when it comes to business valuation.

Then came Raleigh Williams, a mergers and acquisitions lawyer turned business owner and now my business partner.

Raleigh started as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer–working at a big law firm in New York and then later in Texas.

When he saw how these big companies earn millions (and even billions) of dollars through acquiring businesses or selling divisions of their companies, he got into building his own business.

He went from earning $2M a year in profit from his family entertainment business to selling the entire business for $26M.

Then Raleigh made me realize the biggest mistakes that internet marketers like me create.

Let us share them with you in detail and hopefully enlighten you.

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

    Meet Raleigh Williams (02:03)

Why you should have a business exit strategy plan (07:18)

Two main mistakes that marketers make (10:22)

  • It was probably two years ago while I was at a Funnel Hacking Live…

That I had one of the most meaningful epiphanies of my life as an entrepreneur.

I was woken up in the middle of the night and was inspired to create a Medical Underground Railroad.

Honestly, I don’t know what it is.

All I know is that I want to be one of those entrepreneurs who helped create solutions even for something they do not have specialties in.

This project allows me to give back and make an impact.

And so I talked to my coach (yes, I have business and personal coaches, too), and that’s where I came to know these powerful immortal words from Aristotle: "Nature abhors a void.”

It means that nature will always fill any empty spaces.

So if you’re frustrated that you don’t have the clarity yet to some of your biggest business ideas, don’t fret.

There’s beauty in asking questions even without immediate answers.

Lemme tell you how you can apply this principle in real life and in marketing.

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

    My trip to Africa (00:52)

The pros and cons of capitalism (02:07)

    The “nature-abhors-a-void” concept (04:54)

  • It's not the first time I've had this type of insight.

But it resurfaced after years while I was filming a video about how unique the offer launch is.

And that's what spurred the thought.

I realized that there is a benefit to being an innovator. Sure, there are things to be blue, new, and prolific with.

However, there are also certain things that it's best to model what has worked.

One of the biggest frustrating aspects I have in teaching my frameworks to others is that "some" people would do differently from what the framework says.

And they'd come up to me and say...

    "Steve, your framework doesn't work."

    Yeah? No way!

Well, it feels like I'm handing a Ferrari to a five-year-old who can't reach the pedals yet.

Lemme tell you more about what I mean by this...

    Key Takeaways:

    Intro (00:00)

There's a certain playroom within the framework (01:37)

  • Here I was, sitting and thinking about the very first successful sales funnel I made for another company.

And it got me asking what made it so successful compared to my previous attempts.

Obviously, I had good copies on my sales funnels, good sales videos, etc.

But I think the answer is really simple…

    Survey your customers!

As customers come and go, I surveyed my customers to fully understand what they need. It might seem like a leap, but it does benefit you in the long run.

And one of the most triggering things someone can ask me while I'm on stage is...

"Steve, this is really powerful. But will it work for me?"

  • I remember my first few interviews. Man, those weren't the best of me.

But if it weren't for those interviews and my consistency in putting myself out there, I wouldn't be considered an expert in what I do now.

It cemented me in this industry which eventually led to bigger opportunities.

Yet, most people often overlook this marketing strategy.

Getting yourself interviewed is actually one of the most powerful and SIMPLEST forms of marketing.

Why? 'Coz it never leaves the internet.

And if you know how to tie your answers into whatever you're promoting, you'll have leads for LIFE!
