The Boyz catch up with improv superstar Ali James! Talking about the Southend 48Hour Improvathon, our favourite words, and John's pyjama shorts. Will Ross ever send his medical form...? Probably not.
Ali James has worked with Mischief Theatre, makers of the critically acclaimed "Goes Wrong" shows, the Comedy Store players and is part of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! the improvised musical - stars of the Edinburgh Fringe and London's glittering West-End. She's also John's wife. Which is nice.
Southend 48hr Improvathon 2025 starts 7pm Friday 25th and runs til Sunday 27th of April just £5 per episode, with a kid friendly episodes available 1-3 Saturday and Sunday - @southend48thon on the socials.

After a brief (well, not THAT brief...) hiatus the Slick Boyz are back with the latest instalment of the Organic Capers Podcast. Recorded live from our new home Up The Road bar in Westcliff and interrupted partway through by friend of the show Jess Ackland (who doesn't feature) the lads discuss relocating Little Smash Comedy, the local snooker league and bunking off work to play computer games.
