Dr. Ben Carson has spent a lifetime defying expectations — from growing up in poverty to becoming one of the world’s most renowned pediatric neurosurgeons and serving as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Now,he’s stepping back into public service with a powerful new role shaping national policy.
In this conversation, Dr. Ben Carson joins the program as our National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing at the U.S. Department of Agriculture — a position that places him at the centernof issues affecting millions of American families, from food security and rural health care access to stable housing. And weighs in on SNAP.
But policy is only part of the story.
Dr. Carson also speaks candidly about the deeper issues shaping our nation: the importance of faith in overcoming anger and adversity, the growing climate of division in America, and why courage — not fear — must guide leadersin a volatile cultural moment. He shares the powerful personal experiences that shaped his views on self-control, responsibility, and the role families play in forming the next generation.
From uncovering fraud in federal nutrition programs to addressing campus hostility toward differing viewpoints, Carson offers a thoughtful perspective on leadership, character, and what young Americans need most today.
This is a wide-ranging and deeply personal conversation about faith, discipline, freedom, and the responsibility each of us carries to build a stronger nation.

In today’s episode, we sit down with former U.S. Senator Joe Manchin for a powerful conversation about his book Dead Center — a book he describes as both a memoir and a manifesto for bringing common sense back to American politics. Manchin shares his concerns about where the Democratic Party is headed. We also talk about why he believes the “center” is where solutions are born, what it means to put people before party, and how respect, responsibility, and compassion can break through the bitterness and tribalism dividing our nation. This episode suggests that there is hope that still exists for a healthier, more unified political future. You may not agree with all of his politics – but there is much to be said about puttingaside “sound bites” and having real conversations.

Christmas is full of lights, lists, and traditions — buthow do we keep our children focused on the real meaning of the season? Today, I’m joined by Pastor Grant Castleberry who serves as pastor at The King’s Chapel in Raleigh, NC. He and his wife GraceAnna are authors, creators, and parents of five — whose mission is to help families reclaim the heart of Christmas. Together they’ve created a powerful new resource designed to anchor the season in the story of Jesus.
In this episode, we talk about how to guide our childrentoward a Christ-centered understanding of Christmas — not just through words, but through intentional family traditions. From daily Scripture rhythms tosimple practices that point little hearts to the manger, we explore practical ways parents can make Jesus the focus of December. The Castleberrys share how their own family traditions were reshaped by their desire to keep Christ at the center — and how every family, regardless of where they’re starting, can do the same.
We also dive into their new project, “Manger inDanger,” a creative and meaningful alternative to Elf on the Shelf. Packed with Scripture-based devotionals and rooted in the true Christmas story, it offers families a month-long adventure that brings children back to the wonder of Jesus’ birth — not the distractions that often crowd Him out.

As climate agendas grow more aggressive, so does global resistance. From Europe to the U.S., people arewaking up to the economic, personal, and political costs of “saving the planet.” In this episode, Marc Morano of Climate Depot and Rose dig into what The New York Times calls a worldwide souring on climate politics. Is the green movement losing its grip?We explore the rising backlash against energy rationing, media fear-mongering, and a climate narrative that increasingly feels more ideological than environmental. From population decline to censorship scandals, it’s clear: something's cracking in the climate consensus. Is it too late to pivot to a rational, people-first energy policy?Rose asks Marc about the Republican bill in Ohioallowing utility companies to limit customer energy use. This is a kind of government-enabled control. This is a slippery slope from energy rationing to full-blown behavioral regulation in the name of climate. ShouldAmericans be more concerned about losing basic rights under the guise of “saving the planet”?
We also discuss Censorship, Culture Wars & the Climate Narrative, and Heatwaves and the blaming of Oil Industry.

Can you imagine the early church and its leaders NOT speaking out about Stephen and what happened to him? About James? Yet there were TOO many pastors who wouldn’t even speak Charlie’s name the Sunday after he was assassinated.
This episode is a wake-up call to believers who have growncomfortable or silent. Pastor Miles and Rose explore the legacy of courageous faith—from early church martyrs like Stephen and James to Revolutionary War pastors who preached with a Bible in one hand and fought with conviction in the other. They reflect on the life and sacrifice of Charlie Kirk, whose passion for the Gospel transcended politics and cost him everything.
The world doesn’t need a culturally compliant Christianity—itneeds one that is fervent, fearless, and rooted in the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way. As the voices of martyrs still echo through history, this episode calls listeners to stand firm, speak truth, and live a Gospel that cannot be silenced.
In a culture increasingly shaped by convenience, compromise, and spiritual confusion, Pastor Lucas Miles joins Rose for a bold and urgent conversation. Drawing from his bestselling book Woke Jesus: The False MessiahDestroying Christianity, Pastor Miles sounds the alarm on thedangerous rise of pagan ideologies in America—threats not only to the church, but to the very soul of the nation. Pastor Lucas’ current book; Pagan Threat: Confronting America'sGodless Uprising is also discussed and provides a warning for our youth. Please Support this Podcast:

Like many of you, I remain stunned and deeply saddened by Charlie’s death.
I truly believe Charlie was a modern-day prophet.Like the prophets of old, his message often disturbed people — not because it lacked truth, but because it called for faith and repentance. That kind of message doesn’t always sit well, especially when it confronts people with theneed for change. But I believe he was divinely appointed to call us back to obedience to God's Word. He makes the point in this interview that it is “time for decent people of the West to rise up and defeat evil”.
In this interview he also shares what he envisioned for himself as a young man and how he feels about his accomplishments. There is also a special message for parents at the end.
At one point during our conversation, he said: "I am applying myself to be a better version of myself."
Charlie — in your life and even in your passing you have inspired us all to do the same. Thank you.
Note: Charlie was always kind to me, and he never turned down a request for an interview. In this interview there were a few glitches in the audio on his end and after troubleshooting for a while, we decided to just roll with it. I’m glad we did — it turned out to be the last time we spoke.

"No greater love has any man than this - that a man should lay down his life for a friend." John 15:13
In this episode I share some astonishing acts of courage demonstrated by Americans throughout history.; 9/11, Revolutionary War times, World War II, and more. Amazing stories.
Astounding 9/11 stories revisited as we consider what it means to lay down one's life for a friend. Even greater love - for someone we don't even know. We must never forget.
Is laying down our life more than we think it is? Shouldn't we be laying down our lives in that we give of our time, our resources and our energy to those in need? To lay aside our desires and ambitions - even for a moment - to meet the needs of others.

Losing the Land: How Bad Policy, Foreign Buyers, and Broken Trade Were Killing America’s Farms
For over a century, America has lost family farms at an average rate of 45,000 per year — a trend driven by bad government policy, unfair trade deals, and economic whiplash. From crushing interest rates to trade agreements that flood our markets with cheap imports, farmers havelong been caught in the crossfire. Today’s administration is finally fighting back, with targeted tariffs like the one on Mexican tomatoes and new trade deals that prioritize American agriculture. But the stakes remain high: anenourmous trade deficit in food, a supply chain that broke during COVID, and a generation of farmers facing extinction if reforms don’t stick.
This episode dives deep into the national security threat posed by foreign ownership of U.S. farmland — with the Chinese Communist Party quietly buying land near militaryinstallations — and explores new bipartisan legislation aimed at restoring transparency and oversight. We’ll also tackle immigration reform, the cultural cost of losing farms, and why protecting American agriculture isn’t just about food — it’s about who we are as a country.

Rose is joined by Pastor Phil Hotsenpiller, co-founder and Senior Pastor of Influence Church in Anaheim Hills, California and author of “One Nation Without Law”As bombs fell on Iranian nuclear sites and tensions exploded across the Middle East, Are we seeing a foreshadowing of aglobal collision course? Russia, Iran, and Turkey are aligning in ways that eerily echo the ancient prophecy of Ezekiel 38–39. In this gripping episode, we examine how today’s headlines may be fulfilling a 2,500-year-old vision of a final war—one not only geopolitical, but deeply spiritual.Drawing from his book One Nation Without Law, PastorPhil Hotsenpiller explores the prophetic blueprint behind the chaos: the regathering of Israel, the rise of a hostile coalition, and the “hook in the jaws” pulling nations toward Jerusalem. Could this be the precursor to the Antichrist’s rise? Is lawlessness setting the global stage for the return ofChrist?
This is not just another world crisis. This is the shaking of nations. It’s time for the Church to wake up, stand firm, and understand the times.

Gordon Chang, Author of “Plan Red” and distinguished analyst on China and U.S. joins Rose Unplugged
“After decades of misguided American Foreign Policy- every course of action going forward is extremely risky and dangerous.” At one point, China appeared to be gaining control over the Middle East, gradually edging out U.S.influence. But with Trump’s Middle East tour, the dynamics began to shift.
China helped create the conditions that led to the currentconflict. The question now is: after seeing the U.S. demonstrate strength and resolve, particularly in this region, will Beijing be more cautious about flexing its muscles—especially regarding Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, and other key areas?
Could this conflict continue to escalate? It's certainly possible.
The increasingly close relationship between China, Russia, and Iran has significant global implications. Xi Jinping seems to be channeling the foreign policy strategy of his idol, Mao Zedong—governing through chaos.
Putin is willing to go to war, and that posture aligns with Xi’sbroader geopolitical ambitions. The partnership among Iran, China, and Russia will shape the world order and directly impact all of us.
