  • In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Aidan Mehigan. Aidan is the Founder and CEO of Natterjack, a popular Irish whisky brand he grew from zero to an internationally recognized liquor brand in less than 5 years.

    Natterjack, currently sold in 16 U.S. states and 13 global markets, was recognized as the Best Irish Whiskey 2024 in The Whiskey Bible and has 7+ figure annual revenues. The journey getting there wasn't easy!

    In just a few short months, Jay raised $2,150,000 in private money. Despite initially cursing his banker, Jay now thanks him. Jay's unique system allows him to enjoy 7-figure profits year after year. He also has the freedom to work less than 10 hours per week in his real estate investing business by leveraging the power of automation.

    To fund the growth of his company in 2018, Aidan obtained a $940K+ convertible loan note. Then COVID-19 struck, and by the end of 2021, Natterjack had low cash reserves, international market sales were almost non-existent, and the Irish market was simply too small to sustain the business.

    To make matters worse, the convertible loan note holder also wanted their money, and Aidan couldn't pay it back. This resulted in a legal battle that ended with the court ruling in Aidan's favor, ending an attempted hostile acquisition and possible closure of Natterjack.

  • In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Graeme Carling. Graeme is a true business success story. From humble upbringings v. Those early experiences ignited a spark in Graeme who would go on to work his way into well-paid managerial positions, but it was never enough. Graeme always wanted to work for himself, and in spite of his initial failed forays into business ownership, he was always destined for entrepreneurialism. With three failed businesses under his belt, Graeme found himself at a pretty low ebb, licking his wounds. It was at this time Graeme happened to catch the end of an Oprah Winfrey show with Rich Dad Poor Dad author, Robert Kiyosaki, which led to him committing to his own financial education. He even roped in his new girlfriend (and eventual wife) Leanne, by gifting her a copy of Kim Kiyosaki’s book, Rich Woman.

    After a while, with their first child together on the way, Graeme and Leanne quit their jobs, on the same day, with modest savings in the bank to survive for the next six months, and set about building their empire together. Graeme and Leanne would spend the next 15 years, working, learning, and traveling together, as they built a business portfolio spanning multiple sectors and international locations, worth millions of pounds. With vision, commitment, and relentless effort, they’ve taken their place amongst the entrepreneurial success stories, though to them…it was never in doubt.

Jeffrey is the founder of Equine Biomechanics & Exercise Physiology (EQB), which helps HNWI and entrepreneurs looking to get into the horse racing business pick and manage young, unraced thoroughbred horses who may then become champions.

    Jeffrey has spent millions, including $7M+ of his own money, researching and refining the science of picking a champion racehorse for 4+ decades and grown EQB to be one of the USA's leading talent scout buyers for young unraced thoroughbred horses.

    They helped one of their clients go from start-up to being the leading USA racing stable in 4 years with a profit! This was even before the client made $50M+ from a racehorse they selected that won several world championships and became the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years. Several other clients have also had world champions.

    Jeffrey disrupted the horse racing industry by developing a quantitative approach to finding the best racehorses, much of which has now been widely copied. His approach pre-dates, and is similar to, the one depicted in the Brad Pitt movie Moneyball, in which Pitt analyzes baseball players using biometric measurements at rest and while running, as well as the type of equations and statistics to demonstrate their value and project their potential accomplishments. The data includes slow motion films, organ scans, DNA markers etc.
