Who is Måneskin
Måneskin are an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The band is composed of lead vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. Performing in the streets in their early days, Måneskin rose to prominence after coming in second in the eleventh season of the Italian version of X Factor in 2017. Their international breakthrough occurred when the foursome won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy with the song "Zitti e buoni". Musical Style Måneskin's music has been described as a blend of pop rock, glam rock, and hard rock. They have been compared to bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Guns N' Roses. The band's lyrics are often about rebellion, self-expression, and living life on their own terms. Influences The band members have cited a wide range of influences, including David Bowie, The Beatles, Iggy Pop, and Arctic Monkeys. They have also said that they are influenced by Italian rock bands such as Litfiba and Vasco Rossi. Career
Måneskin released their first extended play, Chosen, in 2017.Their debut studio album, Il ballo della vita, was released in 2018.Their second studio album, Teatro d'ira: Vol. I, was released in 2021.Their third studio album, Rush!, was released in 2023.Success Måneskin have been one of the most successful Italian bands in recent years. They have won numerous awards, including the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Italian Act and Best Rock Act.
