This show speaks about finding & keeping love in your personal & professional life.
Loving who we are, having loving relationships and loving what we do for a living are essential ingredients to experiencing a happy and successful life. How we achieve that is told in examples through interviews with others who have struggled with life's biggest questions. We also hear about the host's experiences over the course of more than 20 years helping others in transition after an involuntary job loss.
We hear how "losses" trigger introspection and a consideration of how we might better meet our needs once we are in touch with our unique personal motivations. If help is required in identifying those personal needs, we can take advantage of professional assessment tools.
We all seek to be happy and most of us desire a successful career or worklife. Recognizing how love plays such a prominent role is sometimes a surprise, but mostly, we intrinsically know and understand that this is true. We just may not have articulated it precisely in that manner.
Come and listen to hear how we are all truly connected in our time here! -

The new-age & holistic wellness world is all about love, light, authenticity and wellness for all, right? Not always. Love & Light Confessionals, formerly Kumbaya Confessional, is the insider exposé on the bizarre epidemics of the crunchy hippie world: cults, spiritual charlatans, toxic positivity culture, illegal pyramid schemes, fad diets and more.

Growing up Southern Baptist with a self-absorbed Mother and often absent Father, Jo Alch was forced to spend most of her childhood with an abusive Grandmother who believed that hard work was the only way to get to heaven. On weekends, while her Catholic friends were watching cartoons and playing with the latest toys, Jo and her siblings were polishing silver and starching linens with military precision. Her Grandmother’s personality at church was gentle and kind, unlike the often cruel and harsh one only her family saw.
Jo’s life changed when she stumbled upon a little shop not far from her home, where a perfect stranger gave her the hope for a brighter future. That shop was called 'The Lemon Tree' and that's the story that inspired Jo to write her first book 'The Lemon Tree Book - Memoirs of Courage'.
Tune in to be inspired by stories of those who triumphed over adversity. -
First published in 1886 at Nietzsche’s own expense, the book was not initially considered important. In it, Nietzsche denounced what he considered to be the moral vacuity of 19th century thinkers. He attacked philosophers for what he considered to be their lack of critical sense and their blind acceptance of Christian premises in their considerations of morality and values. Beyond Good and Evil is a comprehensive overview of Nietzsche’s mature philosophy.
