Today, we're discussing the ongoing Supreme Court case Mahmoud v. Taylor, in which SCOTUS will be addressing whether or not parents have the right to opt their children out of curriculum featuring storybooks promoting LGBT ideology. The Maryland school board doesn't want to let parents opt out, but parents say this violates their First Amendment rights. Who will SCOTUS side with? And the state of Colorado is back on our radar, and not in a good way, with four new bills that protect abortion care and "gender-affirming health care" that are currently working their way through the legislature. At least some good news came from across the pond with the U.K. Supreme Court ruling that women are, in fact, biological females, and "transgender" women don't fit that description.

Today, we sit down with Kallie Fell, the executive director of the Center for Bioethics and Culture Network, to talk about bioethics (or lack thereof) in the assisted reproduction industry. We talk about everything from the lack of long-term health tracking for surrogate mothers and egg sellers to the predatory, exploitative marketing that encourages and exploits these women into selling their DNA and bodies. Kallie tells us about the lack of research into the health effects of IVF and surrogacy and how the little research we have doesn't exactly paint the fertility industry in a positive light. We also discuss some other countries that have banned surrogacy to varying degrees and how we would like to see the United States follow suit in order to protect moms and babies.

Today, we sit down with Elizabeth Coleman, author and former cult member, to hear her story and testimony of how she came to Christ. Elizabeth tells us about growing up in the cult with no name — but one that ex-members call the Two-by-Twos — and how she was conditioned from a young age to fear Christianity and other Christians. She shares how members of the Two-by-Twos believe that their beliefs are the only way to Jesus, but in fact, the cult was started in the late 1800s, not the first century. Elizabeth tells us how she met her husband at 17 and slowly started to question her beliefs throughout university, ultimately leaving the cult for the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
