  • Have you ever noticed a seemingly small habit or reaction and wondered where it comes from? Often, the answer lies in our childhood experiences. It’s not just the big, dramatic moments that shape us; even minor events can leave a lasting impact.

Yet, many of us are reluctant to look back. The idea of revisiting childhood memories might feel daunting or unnecessary, especially if nothing “big” happened. But making these connections can be incredibly freeing and transformative.

Connecting these dots isn’t about reliving trauma or digging up pain; it’s about understanding and making peace with how our experiences have shaped us.

So, next time you find yourself reacting in a way that puzzles you, consider looking back. You might discover a childhood influence you didn’t realise was there.

By understanding our past, we can begin to reshape our future, freeing ourselves from patterns that no longer serve us.

  • When we embark on the journey of self-discovery, we embark on a journey of self-love.

By understanding our deepest fears, dreams, and motivations, we unlock the door to genuine self-acceptance and compassion.

This inner harmony becomes the cornerstone upon which we build a fulfilling and purposeful existence.

One of the most loving things we can do for ourselves is to get to know who we are. I don’t just mean basic information, I mean what really makes us quirky and unique.

If you think about your favourite character on TV or in a movie, the more layers that they show of this character, the more we as an audience connect to them. We don’t care that they are not perfect, in fact often it is the fact that they are not perfect that makes us connect to them more.

So in the same way that we can fall in love with a character on TV, the more we know about ourselves, and can love and accept ourselves (warts and all), the better we can take care of ourselves.

You will know what activities to do to switch off, or that get you excited. What foods to cook if you are wanting to nurture yourself and where is the cosiest space for you to enjoy it. All of these things, only you know the answers to.
