Back in December of 2022, we had a guest and friend, Troy Stewart, come on the show to talk about his do it yourself caribou hunt in Alaska. After hearing about the trip, we had to be apart of it.
This is a prime example of using your resources in the outdoor industry and acting on what you’ve always dreamed about doing. In this extended episode, you get to hear about the start to finish of how our Alaska caribou hunt transpired.
We have myself, Chase Adair, and Conner Iselt who were on the trip and special guest Nick Furr who wasn’t able to make it but offers a great perspective on our stories. With Dakota Chappell, Luke Thompson, and Troy Stewart being located in the DFW area of Texas, we weren’t able to get the whole Alaska crew to join in on this episode.
But as you'll hear, there will still be much more to come in a two part episode that gets into more detail on gear and other hunter’s perspectives on the trip.
As RCRL’s mission goes, we hope our listeners get to experience the outdoors as we re-experience them on this episode. Get out there and re discover your why! -
