  • Can you lose weight and still be unhappy?

    Absolutely.

In this episode, I share a powerful email from longtime coaching client, who reflects on a transformation that went far beyond the scale.

    Her story highlights a powerful truth . . .

Losing weight and gaining life are not always the same thing.

Because while weight loss can be valuable, it doesn't automatically create confidence, self-acceptance, freedom around food, or happiness.

I'll break down the four questions that will help you define true success and explain why sustainable change requires more than a meal plan and exercise routine—it requires rebuilding the way you live and think.

  • Most people think there are endless ways to lose weight.

The fitness industry promotes endless methods and meal plans, but the truth is every approach ultimately falls into one of three categories:

    Outcome-basedLifestyle-basedCombo-based

Today, we'll unpack the pros and cons of each strategy, including:

Why weighing frequently can create both clarity and emotional pressureWhy some people thrive with scale data while others might spiral emotionallyThe role that body image can play in weight loss successHow stress and urgency sabotage decision-making

Most importantly, we'll go beyond “just losing weight” and ask a deeper question:

What approach actually supports the kind of life you want to live?

  • In this episode, I break down one of the biggest hidden obstacles to lasting weight loss success. I call it the "Panic Loop."

That moment when the scale goes up a little, progress feels too slow, or fear takes over ... it can completely derail your ability to think clearly, assess, and adjust.

Because when people panic around weight loss, they often:

    > Jump to unsustainable extremes

    > Start believing they’re broken

    > Obsess over the scale even more

    > Cut out entire food groups

    > Chase fast results instead of lasting change

This episode is for anyone who feels urgency, pressure, fear, or emotional chaos around weight loss and the scale.

You’re not broken. But you may be stuck in a panic loop.

    In This Episode:

  • “I’m finally comfortable in my own skin.”

What if lasting transformation had less to do with willpower… and everything to do with the way you think?

In this deeply honest and inspiring conversation, former coaching client “Cindy Lou” shares the mindset breakthroughs that completely changed her life and body.

After decades of all-or-nothing thinking, emotional pressure, and tying her value to the scale, Cindy found a new way forward — one built on grace, awareness, reframing, and sustainable habits.

Today, she says she feels free, grounded, and more comfortable in her own skin than ever before.

This episode is about far more than weight loss. It’s about identity change, emotional healing, and learning how to live from self-respect instead of self-punishment.

Cindy opens up about overcoming all-or-nothing thinking, releasing emotional attachment to the scale, and learning how to give herself grace without giving up on her goals.

One of the biggest turning points came through understanding her “emotional home” and learning how to reframe thoughts and reactions that had been wired into her identity for over 55 years.

This conversation is a powerful reminder that real transformation starts in the mind — and that lasting change becomes possible when we stop trying to punish ourselves into becoming someone new.

Just a few snippets from our discussion . . .

“The weight isn’t my focus anymore — it’s just a result of the way I’m living.”

    “I don’t live all-or-nothing anymore.”

“You can’t undo 55 years of thinking overnight.”

“Those old thoughts feel foreign now.”

“I’m finally comfortable in my own skin.”

“Grace helped me change more than shame ever did.”

  • One of my clients just got results that normally only come from drugs, hormone replacement therapy, or some extreme program.

But we didn’t use medication or hormones.

We didn’t use a crazy diet..

And we definitely didn’t overhaul his entire life overnight.

In today’s episode, I’ll explain what we did to achieve incredible results.

These results speak for themselves 👇

    30 point drop in cholesterol

    271 point drop in triglycerides

    148 point increase in testosterone

    41 point increase in IGF-1

Lost 12 pounds AND gained 3–4 pounds of muscle

    I coached him just like I coach anyone . . .

    > I gave him small, doable weekly goals.

    > We adjusted based on his life

    > Held him accountable (with a mix of tough love + support)

What exactly did he do? You’ll have to listen to this episode to find out! But please don’t miss these big takeaways . . .

    🔑 Big Takeaways

You can get BIG results from small changesYou don’t need drugs or extreme programs to transform your bodyYou don’t have to do crazy things — but you DO need patienceConsistency beats perfection. Every time.

    Simple works.

But only if you actually do it and do it consistently.

  • “I just can’t get it together…”

“I’ve been struggling with this my whole life…”

“If I could just lose the weight…”

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. But here’s the hard truth . . .

Most people don’t stay stuck because they don’t care.

They stay stuck because they don’t take action.

Or they take half-hearted action — just enough to feel like they’re trying…

but not enough to actually change anything.

In this episode, I break down a simple (but powerful) reality of the only 3 options you have.

And here’s the kicker - not choosing… is actually choosing not to do anything.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

Why fear and lack of belief keep you stuck in the same cycleHow “thinking about it” is often just disguised inactionWhy gathering more information won’t change your lifeThe real cost of staying where you areHow to finally move forward — even if it’s not perfect

You don’t need more information. You need a decision.

    Because without action, nothing changes.

    If you . . .

    • Have been “thinking about it” for months (or years)

    • Feel stuck but aren’t taking consistent action

    • Keep searching for the “right” plan

    • Are tired of starting over

    This episode will hit home.

Without action, nothing changes. Without peace, nothing feels good — even if you succeed

Most people are stuck in the worst place possible…

Wanting change but not taking action - AND - not at peace either

  • There are a lot of lies floating around in the weight loss world.

    Some come from diet culture.

    Some come from social media.

And some… come from the way we’ve trained ourselves to think.

In this episode, I break down three hard truths that challenge some of the most common (and damaging) beliefs people carry about losing weight.

    These aren’t tips.

    They’re not hacks.

They’re the kinds of truths that might sting a little… but can completely change the way you approach weight loss.

    In this episode, we cover:

Why you don’t actually “fall off the wagon” — and what’s really happening when you doThe truth about gaining weight back (and why it’s not random or out of your control)Why weight loss always comes with a cost — and how to decide if it’s worth itWhy success requires both structure and self-compassion — not just one or the other

If any of this sounds familiar . . .

    > You feel like you’re either “on” or “off”

    > You’re afraid of gaining the weight back

    > You’ve tried a lot of different things, but nothing sticks

    > You feel stuck in the same cycle over and over

Have you ever tried this snacking tip to save calories?

Today, I’ve got some super practical food swaps and weight loss tips for ya!

Tips and tricks can help in the short term. But they won’t deliver the long-term, life-changing results most people actually want.

    They’re band-aids. Not real solutions.

That being said, in this episode I do provide five simple, doable food tips that can help you in your weight loss journey.

  • One of the biggest reasons people struggle to lose weight has nothing to do with food or exercise.

It’s where their attention is. Most people are stuck between two places:

Frustrated with where they are now . . .

Obsessed with where they want to go . . .

And that tension? It keeps them distracted, overwhelmed, and inconsistent.

In this episode, I break down a powerful shift we worked through in my Last Monday Reset Workshop …

Removing the mental noise that keeps you stuck — so you can finally take consistent action.

Because, as James Clear says . . .

You don’t rise to your goals. You fall to your systems.

And if your systems don’t support you, you’ll stay stuck — no matter how motivated you feel.

If you’re tired of overthinking, obsessing, and spinning your wheels . . .

    This episode is for you.

  • “How does a weight loss program bring up so much emotional stuff?”

That's what a client recently asked me. The answer is simple - weight loss isn’t just about food and exercise.

It’s about your thoughts, beliefs, habits, patterns, stress, emotions, and self-awareness.

And for many people, the biggest obstacle isn’t discipline — it’s perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking.

In this episode, I break down:

Why weight loss often feels overwhelming and emotionalHow diet culture conditions you to chase perfectionThe mental traps your “inner bully” uses to keep you stuckWhy pressure and unrealistic expectations destroy consistencyAnd what actually works instead

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by food, your body, or the scale, and wondered why this feels so much harder than it should . . .

    This episode is for YOU.

Because the truth is … You don’t have a motivation problem. You have a strategy problem. And once you fix the strategy, everything changes.

  • Do whatever diet, workout, or weight loss program you want, but if your overall approach is wrong, then you’re kind of doomed.

After almost 25 years in the fitness and weight loss world, I’ve noticed patterns in how people try to lose weight.

Whether you realize it or not, you probably routinely take a very similar approach to what you’ve always done. It might be a different diet or exercise program, but …

    Your mindset …

    Your overall strategy …

The way you view the program …

The way you go about taking action …

How you prepare (or don’t prepare) …

All of that comes together to create a certain overall approach.

There are 4 primary approaches that I’ve noticed . Three of them will likely stress you out and lead to burnout. The other one is the best way to lose weight and actually keep it off.

Until you find the path that works and fits you, you'll just keep repeating the same cycle over and over with very little weight loss results to show. Maybe it’s time to take an entirely new approach.

  • “I need someone to hold me accountable.”

It’s one of the most common things people say when they’re struggling to stay consistent. And for a long time, I believed it too.

In this episode, I explain why I’ve changed my mind about accountability. It’s often misunderstood and overvalued.

This episode is about shifting from being afraid to let others down to learning how to stop letting yourself down — and why your relationship with yourself is the real foundation for consistency.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE:

Why accountability isn’t the magic solution most people think it isWhy fear of letting others down doesn’t lastThe difference between external and internal accountabilityHow repeatedly “falling short” trains you to expect failure from yourselfWhy repairing your relationship with yourself matters more than you can imagineWhat truly successful clients do differently
