How do you know if you're an introvert or an extrovert? The simple test is to ask yourself: when you're around lots of people (say at a party or a real estate event), do you go home after the party and feel like your battery has been charged, or do you feel drained?

Understanding The Accumulation Effect
Definition:
The Accumulation Effect is the principle that small, consistent actions (habits) compound over time, leading to significant outcomes.
Positive actions create momentum toward success.
Negative actions or inaction result in deviation or stagnation.
Opening Example (The 1 in 60 Rule):
In aviation, the 1 in 60 Rule states that being 1 degree off course results in being 1 nautical mile off for every 60 miles traveled. On a transcontinental flight from New York to Los Angeles (~2,450 NM), being just 1 degree off could place you 40 NM from your destination, potentially landing in a completely different city, like Thousand Oaks, CA, instead of Los Angeles.
Takeaway: Small, daily decisions—positive or negative—determine where you end up in the long run.

Did you know the average person has over 6,000 thoughts a day, and many of them are repetitive and negative? Imagine the freedom of taking control of your mental dialogue. In today’s episode, we’ll explore 10 powerful strategies to stop negative thinking and build a positive, growth-focused mindset.
Awareness and Reflection
Recognize and Label Negative Thoughts
Pay attention to when you’re caught in a cycle. Label the thought as negative and decide you'll change the pattern. Negative thoughts don't improve with recycling!

Action: Journaling can help identify recurring negative patterns. Keep a small notebook handy to jot down thoughts and patterns as they arise. Sometimes, just getting them out of your head and onto the page will break you free of the thought hamster wheel.
Challenge and Reframe Your Thoughts
Ask yourself, Is this true? Is it helpful? Replace negativity with positive, factual alternatives. For example, “I can’t do this” becomes “I’m learning, and I’ll get better.”

Do: Keep consistent eye contact to show confidence and interest. Example: When speaking with a client, maintain eye contact to build trust.
Don't: Avoid staring, which can make others uncomfortable. Example: Glancing away occasionally shows you are not trying to intimidate.

Fact: Open houses are an amazing source of business, especially in a low-inventory market. Don't ignore this amazing opportunity to secure both motivated buyers and new listings. Don't just 'sit' at your open houses. Learn to monetize them. It's a one-day event, just for a few hours, but you can make the most contacts. This is super efficient when done correctly.
Fact: If you don't have your own open house this weekend, 'borrow' one from an agent or your broker. It's also ok to hold an open house for any broker in your state. Lead with the right house, not the agent or broker.
Rules for Monetizing Your Open Houses
1. Choose the right house! First-time 'move-up' homes are the best. Popular neighborhoods, school districts, and zip codes You know what's hot and what's not, so choose wisely. Don't hold an open that is behind gates, up a twisty road, hard to find, hard to park, or has other inconveniences that will wreck your attendance.

The National Association of Realtors reports: "Newly built single-family properties comprised a record share of homes on the market, making up nearly one-third of housing inventory nationwide, according to new research from Redfin. New-home sales typically make up only about 10% of the market.
NAR predicts that new-home sales will rise an additional 13.9% in 2024 as builders ramp up construction and offer more incentives to attract buyers.
