We're on hiatus until late 2026/early 2027. Kyle explains why and what's next for Quest Friends! in this episode, but here's the summary.
The hiatus is for three reasons.
One of our vocalists for the musical episode (whom we love) can't record until Fall.Kyle and Emily are having a baby later this year.Kyle feels the release schedule for Hereafter thus far has been too sporadic, so he wants to build up a backlog.While we prep for the next era of Quest Friends! Hereafter, new episodes of Future in a Flash will still release, and the occasional bonus episode or feed drop will show up on the main feed. Kyle & Ems are also working on a new podcast, which we hope to release in Spring 2026.
Finally, we will not be pausing our Patreon payments, in case any current backers still want to financially support us during this break (since we'll still be making stuff, just not releasing it yet). That being said, we totally understand any backers choose to cancel or move to the free tier for the duration of the hiatus.
