What should one take into consideration when organizing an event for LGBTQIA+ people? Jamie knows! And Tomi knows after Jamie has told him

Jamie went to the opening congregation of the Helsinki Senate Square and took a scissor lift to talk to over 50 000 people. All in all, the pride had over 100 000 participants. This is way, way more than anything else in Finland. This episode is the post-amble of Helsinki Pride 2024.
Our theme music composer is one to watch out for! @sundentoni on Instagram and TikTok.

We Are Back! Never ending this pod, ever, Jamie just needed some time to focus on life and actual paying work. In honor of Pride month, we talk about how corporations deal with pride, how the LGBTQIA+ community feels about it, and whether cops are welcome at Pride.
-
Our first science episode! We take a look at one of the first modern scientists who studied trans issues. His books have the highest possible recommendation: they were burned by Nazis.

We have a theme song! Huge thanks to @sundentoni. Check him out on Instagram and TikTok
Our guest Ursula is 40 and found lesbianism at 35. She has insightful and hilarious stories about what that is like. You can find this Finnish comedian's profile on Instagram at @ursulaherlin
Also, sorry for being a week late, but even a podcaster can get a serious case of the flu
-
Another brilliant guest! Huge thanks to Tina for coming on the show to discuss lesbianism, yet still gracefully answering Tomi's questions about tips for straight men.
A lot of sex talk, for you horny fools.
-
The tables have turned! Welcome to Straight and Smart, where trans man Jamie MacDonald poses smart questions to straight man Tomi Walamies. The questions have been crowdsourced from Jamie's Facebook followers.
Also, to celebrate this straight episode, in our Upsetero section we ponder the age-old question: Is it gay for a man to have sex with a woman?

Jamie and Tomi GET KINKY AS PHUK

Jamie is on holiday! So last time at the studio we recorded a miniepisode on top of the regular one, so this episode is the top, and the last one is the bottom, hehe, ok I'll shut up now, it's just that times have been trying, and we try to laugh when able.
Travis was kind enough to also be on this episode.

An actual big time British radio and podcast producer Travis Glossop has been in Finland for one year, so obviously Tomi asks him about forest porn while Jamie calls him repressed. Queer and Dumb: Come for the friendly atmosphere, stay until you make bail.
-
No, they're not guests. We're not that desperate.
Professional comedians Jamie MacDonald and Tomi Walamies, who both make THOUSANDS OF MONIES peddling their yuks EVERY YEAR, see themselves fit to judge the latest specials of Ricky Gervais and Dave Chappelle, two living legends who have both made the curious decision of selling old school phobias to their new conservative audiences.
-
The trailer for Queer and Dumb.
Immense thanks to Podcast Producer Travis Glossop for making this! You can find him under @TravisGlossop on the socials.
-
Viewer mail episode! Jamie asked you about the most and least gay things about 2023, and we commented on your suggestions.
-
Beware what you wish. Audience has been contacting us about Tomi not having dumb enough questions, so he searched the internet and his friends for the dumbest LGBTQIA+ questions.
Jamie goes through most human emotions while answering this garbage.
-
From cookie-cutter perfect-body gay iconography to the near-erotic love one feels for a personal trainer, Jamie and Tomi are joined by visual artist and all-round enby sweetheart Timo Tähkänen to explore body image and queerness. Once again, Tomi gets no closer to his quest to understand Grindr.
Timo's current exhibition, Pink Gym, is an installation of performances for the camera. It explores workout culture as an expression of love, and runs December 2.-17. at MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre.

Compilation episode! Apologies to Latvia for our behavior, congratulations to Latvia for their new Partnership Law, ponderings on the history and present of gay marriage, how to call out phobic behavior, what is masculinity, and a queer gym.
-
Our lawyer has told us that this will be our last episode. Will it? You'll see in two weeks.
-
Should a group of people automatically support a nation that treats their (non-Palestinian) members better than the neighboring nations do, regardless of any other things that nation does?
-
A literal filler episode. (sorry)
Jamie tells Tomi about the bees and the bees.
-
Are queer people two-dimensional? On a flat screen, everyone is! Jamie tells Tomi about LGBTQIA+ representation in film and television. ALSO! A new ending segment, Upsetero. You need to hear it to believe it.
