Despite the significant amount of blood found at the scene, police have never conclusively determined if Joan was abducted, met an untimely end in her kitchen, or staged her disappearance and left on her own accord. Back after a long delay, this episode is part two of our exploration of The Long Island Serial Killer and the woman who’s disappearance sparked the largest murder investigation in Long Island history – Shannon Marie Gilbert. Despite her similarities to other victims of the LISK, Shannon’s death was ruled an accidental death by the medical examiner. Victoria gives her impressions of the three suspects surrounding Shannon’s disappearance and death – and her conclusion is counter to what investigators claimed happened to Shannon.

During our show, the sisters each share an anecdote about a recent spiritual encounter and Victoria tells us about her urban fantasy novel A Spell to Unbind, the first book in her Spellbound series. Our featured mystery is the first of a two episodes covering The Long Island Serial Killer – or – killers. LISK is believed to be the perpetrator of a series of 11 murders over a span of 15 years between 1996 and 2011. Most of the known victims were sex workers – many of whom had advertised their services on Craig’s List. Due to their remains being discovered in Gilgo Beach on the South Shore of Long Island NY, these cases are also known as the Gilgo Beach murders. In today’s episode we focus on the culprits behind murders of The Gilgo Four (Melissa Barthelemy, Maureen Brainard, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello) and Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor.

During our show, Victoria tells us about her upcoming book release Coaching Fire, due in November, the 5th in the Cat/Gilley Coaching Mysteries. She also shares an inspiring anecdote from a recent client reading that encouraged her client to pursue a back burner goal. Our mystery is about Suzanne Morphew who went missing on Mother’s Day 2020 while purportedly out on a mountain biking adventure near her Colorado home. Suzanne’s husband Barry denied any involvement – yet he was arrested a little over a year after she vanished and charged with her murder. The case against Barry Morphew was dismissed in April of 2022, without prejudice because authorities could not produce any forensic evidence connecting Barry to Suzanne’s demise. Victoria shares her psychic insights about Suzanne’s disappearance and the guilty party behind this unsolved mystery.

In this episode, Victoria shares an anecdote that concerns Rubber Duckies, and she offers some insights on the legal outcome of the numerous indictments filed against former US President number 45. Our mystery surrounds best-selling music artist Tupac Shakur who is widely believed to be one of the most influential and successful rappers of all time. Murdered at the young age of 25, Tupac Shakur died on September 13, 1996, six days after he was shot four times by an unknown gunman. To date, his case remains an unsolved homicide.
