Dr. Kodi Azari is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery at UCLA Medical center in Los Angeles, California. He serves as the Chief of Reconstructive Transplantation as well as the Medical Co-Director of Operation Mend which is a UCLA program aimed at providing complex reconstructive surgery for wounded service members injured in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Azari completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a Tissue Engineering Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at UCLA. He has been one of the lead surgeons on 7 hand transplantation operations including the first double hand transplantation and first arm transplantation performed in the United States.
He is a founding member of the American Society for Reconstructive Transplantation, and has served as an Associate Editor for the “Annals of Plastic Surgery,” Guest Editor for “Current Concepts in Organ Transplantation,” and contributing editor for the “Yearbook of Hand and Upper Limb Surgery.”

Dr. Jason Ko is a professor of plastic surgery with an additional appointment in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
He Duke University School of Medicine and then completed his plastic surgery training at Northwestern University under the tutelage of Dr. Gregory Dumanian. Dr. Ko went on to complete a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, after which he spent additional time at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan as well as the University of Tokyo. He joined the faculty at the University of Washington in 2012 and was then recruited back to Northwestern in 2016 where he is currently the Program Director of the plastic surgery residency program. He received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School in 2019, and he has since become the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Surgery at Northwestern and is involved with numerous administrative roles within the hospital and health system. He has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery American, and he is currently the Research Director for the Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery. He is also the Co-Program Chair for the upcoming AAPS Annual Meeting—along with Dr. John Kim. Dr. Ko has a practice focused on brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery, vascularized bone, upper and lower extremity reconstruction, amputee care and TMR.

He trained in art at OCAD and became a fully trained medical illustrator, then went into medicine, training in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto and then completing a microsurgery fellowship at the Toronto General Hospital. He is a past president of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and received the Lavina Lickley Lifetime achievement award form the department of surgery at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the University of Rochester, Dr. Langstein was an associate professor of Plastic Surgery and the director of the Plastic Surgery Graduate Medical Education Programs at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Besides his proficiency in microvascular reconstruction, he has a strong interest in breast, head, and neck surgeries, as well as cosmetic procedures.
In the mid-1990s, Dr. Langstein held various surgical roles at Mercy Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh. He returned to Houston in 1998, where he eventually became an associate professor at M.D. Anderson and led one of the world's leading microsurgical training programs.

Dr. Bill Kuzon holds the esteemed position of Reed O. Dingman Professor of Surgery within the Section of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Kongkrit Chaiyasate is an Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan. He graduated from medical school in Thailand, and then general surgery residency in Providence Hospital and Medical Center, and plastic surgery residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. He then completed two fellowships - craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at Washington University in St Louis, followed by microsurgery at the Ohio State University. He then joined the faculty at Beaumont Health where he has been pushing the boundaries of reconstructive surgery ever since. He instituted the integrated craniomaxillofacial and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship there in 2017, and serves as the Program Director. He has won multiple awards at the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery including two Best Case awards and three Best Save awards. His practice is broad and head to toe, focus on reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck, breast, and extremity, as well as pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery.

Shai M. Rozen, MD, is Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He specializes in facial paralysis (facial reanimation) surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and microsurgery.
A graduate of Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, Dr. Rozen later completed separate residencies in first general surgery and then plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He then received advanced training in craniofacial surgery, followed by extensive training in peripheral nerve surgery through a fellowship at Johns Hopkins.
At UT Southwestern, he has co-created with colleagues from neurotology and neurosurgery a specialty group treating patients with facial paralysis. Dr. Rozen specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, concentrating on face lift surgery, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), and eyelid surgery.
