What does it mean for OU hoops given his part in the recruitment of Aaliyah Chavez? Jeremiah Fears declared for the draft and Duke Miles is hitting the portal; the Guyz give their thoughts on both. Brent Venables shared publicly that he called the plays in 2022 - maybe we just didn't know that, but why did we have a defensive coordinator that year? The Guyz have lots of thoughts and questions about this revelation. We Circle the WaGanns as always, and the Guyz give their PGP MVPz of the week.

After that, they discuss the much-rumored move to offense for Jaren Kanak. Where there's smoke, there may be fire; where there is fire, there's a hot take about this Kanak move coming. In the absence of new developments on the defensive coordinator front, the Guyz revisit some of their priors with the Jim Knowles' pursuit, what the holdup might be, and how the fit would ultimately work if he does sign on as the next defensive coordinator at the University of Oklahoma. We dip our toes into recruiting waters, as the coaches are visiting high schools this week and OU made the cut for a couple 2026 guys. Next, Danny Stutsman and Billy Bowman are headed to the Senior Bowl soon, so the Guyz discussed their hopes for those two and Ethan Downs as NFL draft prospects. Finally, there's some light discussion on the CFP and NFL playoff hunt, before we round the show out with our PGP MVPz of the Week.

It's been about a week since the Oklahoma Sooners' loss to Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl, and the Guyz break down what they're feeling seven days out. After that, they discuss the impact that Zac Alley's departure may (or may not!) have on the defense moving forward, highlighting the returns of Robert Spears-Jennings and Damonic Williams, even as linebacker Lewis Carter hits the portal. Finally, the Guyz give their takes on the transfer portal intakes so far, starting with John Mateer and the quarterbacks, hitting on Josiah Martin, Keontez Lewis, and the wide receivers, and closing with thoughts on the transfer portal tight ends and offensive linemen (we like Derek Simmons). Last but not least, the Guyz give their PGP MVPz, highlighting who took our MVP from the last week in the world.

The Guyz are missing Ryan this week, but the conversations are lively. The Guyz touch on the Oklahoma Sooners' invitation to the Armed Forces Bowl and who they'd like to see break out in the game before pivoting to the transfer portal exodus. The college football environment is unlike it's ever been, and the Guyz give their thoughts on Oklahoma's outgoing transfers. Nic Anderson is top of mind for all Sooner fans looking at the portal, and the Guyz get into The Oklahoma Breakdown discussion surrounding his experiences with the medical staff. The reactions are not overly happy. Finally, we give our thoughts on the 2025 schedule reveal and the daunting SEC schedule ahead before handing out the PGP MVPz of the Week.
