37-year-old, Art "Artie" Carl Makepeace is an unaired predator featured on the Suburban Washington, D.C. episode of To Catch a Predator. He is best known for his creative good samaritan excuse, as well as being convicted of sexual battery before the sting. He used the screen name vamillionaire messages a decoy posing as a thirteen-year-old girl. At the beginning of the chat he claims that he did not realize the girl was only thirteen. Artie wastes no time and asks the girl if she is ok that he is thirty-seven, to which she replies yes. Artie then tells the girl that he is only looking for one thing. When the girl asks what it is he says that he is only looking for sex. Chris Hansen had other ideas.

Matthew “Golf Cart Matt” Daly was 41 when he was arrested in October 2022. Matt showed up riding a golf cart to the sting house. After his encounter with Chris and local law enforcement, he was charged with sexually abusive activity with a child, accosting a child for immoral purposes, and using computers to commit a crime. He made bail but in 2023 he was re-arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and driving with a revoked license and no insurance. He went back to jail but the charges were eventually dropped and now he’s out on $50k bond.

Alan Chernay was 58 years old when he tried soliciting a 14-year-old girl for oral sex. While his chatlog cannot be found online, what is known is that he refused to give his real age to the decoy, only revealing that he was "over 40." He tells the decoy that he would love to get oral sex from her one day, claiming that since he is 6'2, she could give him oral sex without her having to kneel down. Alan arrives at the sting house and is immediately greeted by Chris Hansen, shaking his hand and sitting on the stool. When asked how old he was, Chernay only responds with, "I'm old." After further questioning, Alan breaks down, saying, "I'm out of my mind, I just can't believe it."

34-year-old Abraham Anthony Koujababian made internet contact with a Perverted Justice decoy posing as a 13-year-old girl. He introduced himself as "Tony" and said he was 28. He asked what types of people she was into before going on to describe his muscular body. Twelve minutes into the conversation, Koujababian started approaching the decoy, introduced himself as her lover, and sent pictures to prove how muscular he was. According to Koujababian, he was looking for a partner online. He inquired about the decoy's desire to date an older man. Then Koujababian made a joke about the decoy being a cop. He declared that they would have to keep their relationship a secret from her parents since he didn't want to be set up. Koujababian acknowledged having a foot fetish after discussing a variety of subjects. Immediately afterward Koujababian went up to the same decoy while assuming the identity of a different man who was 30 and used the name "marcusfuller2003." He claimed the decoy could refer to him as "black daddy" and requested that she take her clothes off. That’s when Chris stepped in.

Corye Blagg, 22 years of age at the time, began chatting with a decoy who said she was a thirteen-year-old girl. Blagg was considered a "fast mover." He transitioned from introducing himself to the decoy to requesting to meet and continuously asking for the address to the sting house in the first six minutes of the chat. Blagg suggested that he could take the decoy's virginity in the hot tub after she revealed that she was a virgin and owned said hot tub. Blagg said he would bring chocolate-flavored condoms when the decoy inquired whether he would bring condoms. Blagg drives an hour and 45 minutes to the sting house. He starts conversation with the decoy, but is then met by Chris.

Dallas Lee, a 40-year-old married man with children, started a chat with a decoy who was pretending to be a 14 year old boy in a AOL gay chatroom. He lied to the decoy about his age, claiming to be 20. Within minutes of talking, Lee asked the boy multiple graphic questions, including if he wanted to have oral sex. After a few hours of chatting, Lee droves to the sting house. When he entered the house, Lee was confronted by Chris. Lee even admitted to seeing Dateline NBC's previous To Catch a Predator broadcasts, and having a 19 year old son and 15 year old daughter.

35-year-old Steven Reddington, known in the TCAP community as “suspicious Steve,” was a married man with children, using the screen name "sr82194," to hit up a Perverted Justice decoy who was impersonating a fourteen-year-old girl. Steven asked the decoy a number of explicit sexual questions, including if they could have oral and anal sex, if she was on birth control, whether she had ever shaved her genitalia, and if she had interacted with older men online. He said to the decoy that he didn't want his wife to learn about them having sex together. While there wasn’t any sex…his wife sure learned about the encounter.

Deepak Bist was a 22-year-old college Chemistry teacher at the time he started chatting with “Jennah“, a girl he believed to be 13. He starts by acting like a guardian saying she shouldn’t be in the chat room and there are a lot of bad people there...including himself. It would sound like he was fighting the temptation, saying he was too old and he wasn’t a nice person several times, even calling himself a pervert, perhaps trying to get the decoy to stop chatting with him when he himself could have blocked her if he really didn’t want the chat to develop into anything sexual. He would also admit to watching To Catch A Predator, calling it, “pretty funny." Deepak would cave to temptation and come to Flagler Beach for sex with the decoy and an unexpected meeting with Chris.

Donnie Vaughn was a seventy-year-old retired engineer at the time of the sting. Through the use of an unidentified app, Donnie made contact with a police decoy posing as a father prostituting his daughter for sex. The lengthy chat consisted of Donnie telling the man he would be willing to have sex with the decoy, watch the father have sex with the girl, and then possibly have sex with the father. The police decoy also said that his 'daughter' enjoyed milkshakes, with Donnie promising to bring one with him. Once a meeting was organized, Donnie drove ninety minutes all the way from New Palestine, Indiana to Montgomery, Ohio for an unexpected run-in with Chris.

On March 25, 2006, twenty-three-year-old Ronnelle Stephens-Tun began chatting with "Destiny," a person who he believed was a thirteen-year-old girl. Stephens-Tun, using the screen name "come_ride_and_chill_with_me," confessed that he was single before asking the decoy to be his "little mami." He also said that he would engage in sexual activity with her if she desired it. Stephens-Tun drove two hours from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Darke County, Ohio in order to meet the decoy at a sting house. Instead, he ran into Chris.

In one of Chris’s initial sting operations, he apprehended Ed_in_NYC, a predator in Bethpage, Long Island. Ed_in_NYC's unmistakable New York City accent added a unique dimension to the encounter. His initial excitement upon entering the scene was palpable, only to be contrasted by his smug demeanor when confronted by Chris Hansen. However, despite his attempts to cover his tracks, Ed_in_NYC's efforts were far from convincing, leading to some unintentionally humorous one-liners along the way. Ed_in_NYC remains one of the memorable figures among the first predators Chris ever apprehended.

Andre Maurice Jackson is an unaired suspected predator involved in the Riverside, California investigation. Andre, 26 years of age, used the graphic screen name "hardblackdick", to begin a chat with a decoy who pretended to be a 12-year-old girl. He met the decoy on teenspot.com, a popular social networking site for teenagers at the time. He claimed to be twenty and was considered a "fast mover" because of how fast he traveled to the sting house to meet the decoy after only two chat sessions over a period of three days. Surprisingly, Andre became the very last man to show up at the Riverside sting house. Although many in the TCaP community think little of him, he is considered a "hidden gem" by some due to how anxious he appears to be while being interviewed by Chris.

30-year-old Michael Burks started an internet chat with a Perverted Justice decoy posing as a 13-year-old girl. When they initially spoke, Burks had asked the decoy if she wanted to get together and have some fun. He offered to drive her to a location where she could meet him when she said she would but couldn't because of her father. Burks maintained his assertions that the decoy was jailbait and that it was against the law to have inappropriate contact with her. On January 7, 2006, Burks struck up a conversation and declared that while they would meet a few times, "nothing serious" would take place. All he wanted to do, he claimed, was to "kick back," and he didn't want to go out or get her any alcohol since doing so would "open a Pandora's box." He stated that if he came over, he couldn't stay very long He promised to arrive for between one and two hours so they could watch a movie.

William Rowell was a 37-year-old service tech operator for slot machines who was caught in the Fortson, Georgia investigation. Before William arrived at the sting, footage from a gas station shows he stopped there to buy a box of condoms. He arrives driving a white van (of course he does), so the decoy, wearing only towels to appear she showered, came out to lure him in. William, looking like he hasn't showered in weeks, complains to the decoy that she didn't have to shower. As he gets in the house, he wants to follow the decoy to her room where she said she was going to change in. Once Chris comes out of the curtains, he racewalks out of the house, saying Nope as he exits.

On November 27, 2006, Brian, 25 years of age at the time, started a chat with a decoy named "Claire", whom he thought was a 13 year old girl. The decoy didn't respond to him that night. However, 3 days later, he tried again, and so the chat began. Brian asked the decoy what her bra size was and if she had any sexual experience. He later states he wants to come over and make out, get naked, and finger her. He drove to the sting house and was greeted by Chris.

Forte was a married man with children who managed a restaurant in Tustin, California before it closed. Forte was considered a "fast mover". Over the course of 49 minutes in January 2006, Forte began chatting with someone he thought was a 13-year-old boy named Luke. Forte asked the decoy if he had ever been with men before. Luke remarked that he had been with a man of at least 30 and that it had hurt a lot, to which Forte remarked that he was doing fine and simply needed to "relax the muscle first." He asked the child for images and sent some of his own while describing the boy as "hot." After chatting, Forte immediately travelled to the sting house in Mira Loma, Riverside, California. He acknowledged not having any condoms and not having brought any, but he had alcohol, lubrication, and a camera. He was approached by Chris Hansen after being drawn in by Del Harvey.

49-year-old Victor Wells contacted a Perverted Justice decoy who was posing as a 12-year-old girl named "Beth." From December 18, 2005, to January 7, 2006, Wells had a sexually explicit chat. He questioned whether the decoy was a police officer or a set of parents using a young girl as a prop to catch sexual offenders. He said that because the decoy was under 18, he was unable to speak to her more graphically. Over the coming days, the two talked about a variety of subjects. Wells then offered to pick up the girl when his family wouldn't be present so that he could take pictures of her in a bikini. He claimed to have never encountered someone underage and that just a few had discussed having sex with him. It all ended in a sit down with Chris.

Rafiullah Sayed Ahmadi was an unaired suspected predator involved in the Riverside, California sting. 21-year-old Rafi used the screen name "philosophyguy2003," to start an internet chat with a Perverted Justice decoy who was posing as a thirteen-year-old girl named Chloe. Right away, Ahmadi asked the girl if she could talk on the phone. He later asked the decoy if she was a virgin and if he could have sex with her. Ahmadi told the decoy he hated grown men who talked to underage girls and referred himself as an "old pervert."

Josiah Walker, a 27-year-old Costco worker, began a chat with a decoy pretending to be a thirteen-year-old girl. Walker asked the girl several graphic questions, including if she was a virgin, what her favorite positions were, and if she wanted to try having sex with multiple people. He worried about being caught a few times during the conversation.
Walker drove 100 miles from San Deigo to the sting house in a Cobra Mustang. When he knocks on the front door, the decoy answers from another door. Walker rushes to the decoy with excitement. When he goes into the house, he approached the decoy and hugged her. The only predator in the show’s history to do so. Chris then emerged and motioned for him to “have a seat.”

Michael Murray, who was 44 years old at the time of the sting, engaged in online conversations with a decoy he believed to be a 13-year-old girl named "Michelle". In an attempt to deceive her, Murray lied about his age, claiming to be 32 years old. Despite living only six minutes away from the sting house, Murray quickly steered the conversation towards romance, dating, and ultimately, sex. After chatting with the decoy for two and a half hours, Murray decided to go to the house for a dinner from McDonald's, with the intention of engaging in sexual activity.
Upon arriving at the sting house, Murray encountered Chris Hansen already in the midst of a conversation with Jeremy Keister. Decoy Casey Mauro ushered Murray inside, who was seen carrying a bag of McDonald's food and sporting a smile on his face. However, upon entering, he was met with Hansen, who invited him to sit down and join the conversation.
