Hello Poz Vibers.
Our guest this week ‘Prince’ has chosen to stay anonymous in this episode. During our conversation Prince shared his experience of what it’s like living in Ireland as a gay person and also as an asylum seeker. You will hear that some people have not given him or his fellow seekers the ‘hundred thousand welcomes’ or céad míle fáilte’ that this country used to be famous for.
Love,
Veda and Robbie.

Veda and Robbie are together once again for this episode - hurrah! And their guest this week is Oliver Brown.
In 2019, following a cycling accident in London, Oli found himself in A&E when he received his diagnosis. In July 2021, he delivered a talk to the British Ministry of Defence, telling his story and challenging their foundation on some of their outdated rules.
With the support of the Terrence Higgins Trust, the National AIDS Trust and a network of people, in December 2021, on World AIDS Day, Defence agreed to change its policies and lift all of the restrictions on people living with HIV. This meant those people would be able to join the Armed Forces living with HIV, serve unrestricted if diagnosed and be freely able to take PrEP.
We hope you enjoy Oli's story.

Veda and Robbie.

Hello Poz Vibers,
Welcome back to a brand new Chem Sessions x Poz Vibe Podcast episode.
This week we had a wonderful conversation with Pat, a single country gentleman and a kinky bear with a bit of a wild side. He spoke to us very openly about his relationship with drugs, chem sex and how his own internalised homophobia has affected him.
As always, stay positive and stay powerful tribe.

In this episode of the Chem Sessions we were so grateful to hear the story of Michael Walsh. He shared his experience of chem sex and his struggles with addiction. Thankfully, he has come out the other side of darker times and in this own words he says ‘Born in 1978 in Rockbrock, Rathfarnham...three children - so yeah, I’m a daddy and a DADDI!’
We hope Michael’s story give you hope. During the conversation, he also mentioned a crystal meth anonymous organisation that some of you may find useful: https://www.crystalmeth.org.uk/

Hello Tribe!
We are Poz Vibers through and through but for this season, we're taking a slightly different path and focussing on Chemsex and all that goes with it.
In our first episode for this project, we spoke to Andrew Shannon, Chemsex Project Coordinator at MPower Ireland. But that's not all that's new. The wonderful Lavender the Queen has created a beautiful graphic for us and Tina Berner is our new continuity announcer. Lucky us! Our two constants however are Queen Veda and Dr. Robbie Lawlor who are still leading us on this journey together.
Welcome one and all. We're here for you.
Love,
Veda and Robbie.

The project, a winner of Virgin Media Discovers competition, in partnership with Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is produced by Taller Stories. It premieres at the Dublin International Film Festival this month and will be broadcast on Virgin Media One on Tuesday, February 27th at 11pm. We can't wait to watch!
