In 1994, Garth Brooks released his The Hits album, a culmination of five years of nonstop success. Full of 18 songs you couldn't avoid if you tried, we are here to break down each and every one for you. We ain't going down til the sun comes up!
In addition to our song by song journey, we also draft our other favorite greatest hits albums. Growing up on CDs in the late 80s/early 90s, many of our first purchases were greatest hits compilations of artists we had been listening to on the radio while young. So this draft also includes our signature nostalgia.

You know where you are? You're in the PCY jungle baby. And you're gonna listen...to our episode in Guns N' Roses' 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction! We'll give the interesting background on how the album almost didn't even make it, followed by a song by song breakdown. Finally, we draft the best guitar solos of all-time. See what makes our lists and what we can't fit in.

Sit on your couch with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan as we review this most classic of love stories from Nora Ephron and Rob Reiner. We cover the great scenes, sets, lines, moments, music, and more.
For our draft this week, we go even deeper by picking our favorite couples in movies over the years. See if yours makes one of our lists, and share this episode with someone you love!

While we have covered many a topic in four years, in this episode, we individually share some of those topics we love that need to get their due. We each then share our choice for the topic we love that we will cover this month. What's on the list? What's coming up? Listen now!

KEVIN???!!! Stop what you're doing! You don't want to forget this episode. We're covering the 1990 John Hughes/Chris Columbus classic Home Alone. Not just a star-making turn for Macauley Culkin, the movie features Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara, John Heard, and John Candy. If that isn't enough, it's basically just Die Hard for kids. And you can't go wrong with Die Hard. Merry Christmas!

Way back in season 1, we made three Christmas playlists and talked about our love of Christmas music. But there was so much left on the table. So we're doing it again by drafting our favorite songs NOT mentioned in that previous episode. So you'll want to hear both if you missed the first one. Each is filled with jolly good cheer! Link below. Enjoy!

Put on your bowling shoes, grab your ball, and roll right into this one. We're talking Kingpin from 1996! Starring Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, Bill Murray, and Vanessa Angel, the second Farrelly Brothers movie may have been a gutter ball in theaters, but it was a strike to us. There's a lot to like, most notably an all-time comedic performance from Bill Murray.
A road trip movie with an odd couple relationship, Kingpin reminded us of a host of other similar movies. So in true PCY fashion we draft odd couple movies to close out the show.

1996 was a year full of great music and a time when artists were still interested in the art of making a great album from start to finish. We've chosen 16 of the best from 1996 to pit against each other in a battle to determine the best overall. Giff and Brad have called in the reserves for help voting and reminiscing. Three return guests who really know their stuff (Danaca, Craig, and Rappe) join in for the fun.
This one got long, so it's split into two parts. In Part 1, we'll discuss memories of 1996, both personal and music-related, and we'll vote our way through the first half of the bracket. Albums discussed in Part 1 include:
Semisonic - Great Divide
Soul Coughing - Irresistible Bliss
Swingers Soundtrack
Beautiful Girls Soundtrack
Fountains of Wayne - Self-Titled
Paul Westerberg - Eventually
Sheryl Crow - Self-Titled
Chris Isaak - Baja Sessions
Plus
Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack
Tin Cup Soundtrack
Beck - Odelay
Tracy Bonham - The Burdens of Being Upright

Kevin Costner was a roller coaster in the 90s: big movies, big bombs, big hits, you never knew what you were going to get. But one of favorite KC performances is 1996's Tin Cup. We love golf, we love sports movies, and we usually love us some Kevin Costner. Throw in expert sports direction from Ron Shelton and other great performances from Rene Russo, Cheech Marin, and Don Johnson, as well as a slew of golf-world cameos and you have the recipe for fun.
Speaking of fun, our draft this week is one of the most fun ones we've done. We are filling out a five-person golf team with characters that we want to play with. Whether it's for the fun they'd provide, the skills they have to help us win, or both, this draft is a hole-in-one. Tee off with us now!

"If you ain't first, you're last." Time to rev it up and go fast. We're talking about 2006's Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Not just a Will Ferrell vehicle, this movie boasts a star-studded cast including John C. Reilly, Amy Adams, Sacha Baron Cohen, Gary Cole, Jane Lynch, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Leslie Bibb. We'll tune you up while you're in the pit stop with all best scenes and quotes.
Even though Talladega Nights has a great cast, we're taking this opportunity to look back on the best of Will Ferrell by drafting his best characters, sketches, and movies from a long and hilarious career.
